Charlie Kirk talked about his own ‘murder’ weeks before his death in chilling resurfaced video

OREM, UTAH: Chilling footage has resurfaced of the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk discussing how he believed murderers should be punished and eerily alluding to the possibility of his own killing, just weeks before he was fatally shot during a Turning Point USA event.
Kirk, 31, was gunned down on September 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University. During an earlier talk, recorded 20 days before his death, he responded to an audience question on the morality of the death penalty, explaining why he believed “a life for a life” was the only just punishment for taking another human being’s life.
Charlie Kirk heard saying, ‘If someone were to murder me, they already murdered themselves’
In the resurfaced video, Kirk explained the difference between “murder” and “killing” in the scriptures, arguing that killing in self-defense or as lawful punishment was not the same as murder.
“Taking human life is a major deal,” he said. “The only punishment imaginable for taking the thing that only we are made in the image of God … is that your life must also be taken.”
He then drew a chilling example. “If someone were to murder Alex or murder me, they already murdered themselves in that action,” Kirk told the audience. “They already bestowed the punishment upon themselves, we are simply completing the task.”
"And think about it - some people will say, 'But Charlie, it's not fair because of whatever sob story liberal reason'. But you know who it's not fair to? It's not fair to the victims.
"You are cheapening the lives of the victims. You are basically saying, the victims die and you get to live. So you get to continue to live, even though you took the lives of others."
Kirk went on to say that sparing convicted killers “cheapens the lives of the victims,” insisting that the only way to affirm the value of those lives was for the murderer’s own life to be taken in return.

Erika Kirk forgives her husband’s accused killer
Kirk’s words have resurfaced in a grim twist following his assassination earlier this month.
Tyler Robinson, 22, has since been arrested and charged with aggravated murder in connection to the shooting after a 33-hour manhunt.
At a funeral service held on September 21, Kirk’s widow Erika Kirk delivered an emotional eulogy, declaring that she had forgiven her husband’s accused killer.
“I forgive him because it was what Christ did and it is what Charlie would do,” she told mourners.
“The answer to hate is not hate. The answer we know from the gospel is love … love for our enemies and love for those who persecute us.”

A tragic echo of Charlie Kirk's words
The resurfaced footage has taken on new significance as prosecutors seek the death penalty against Robinson, citing DNA evidence and alleged confessions.
For supporters and critics alike, Kirk’s remarks have become a haunting echo with the activist appearing to foreshadow his own fate.
