Dana White reveals 'coolest things' from Trump and Bill Maher's meeting at White House: 'It was awesome'

WASHINGTON, DC: An unexpected scene unfolded at the White House on March 31, when HBO host Bill Maher, known for his scathing commentary on Donald Trump, found himself seated across from the President in an encounter orchestrated by none other than musician Kid Rock.
Joining the visit was Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) CEO Dana White, who later shared his take on the historic meetup in a recent April 12 interview with Fox News.

What began as a meeting filled with tension and historic friction turned into something far more surprising—respect, Fox News reported.
Maher, speaking later on his show, admitted that Trump was more gracious and good-humored than expected.
White said the "coolest thing" about the meeting was "two guys who have not liked each other for a very long time — two guys who have many opposing views — got together and sat down and talked."
"There was a lot of really good and smart conversation that went back and forth between him and the president. Kid Rock and I just sort of sat there and let those two have their time together. It was awesome," White said.
White echoed that sentiment during his interview with Lara Trump, “Nobody walks into a meeting or a dinner with Donald Trump and walks out and doesn't like him.”

Reflecting on the significance of the encounter, White delivered what may be the biggest takeaway from the evening.
“That's what needs to happen. People with opposing views, instead of everybody hating each other, get together. Talk. Disagree. It's OK to disagree,” he said.
“There's never going to be a case where you agree with everything that anybody says. Your friends, your family and definitely not the president of the United States. It doesn't mean you have to hate each other,” White added.
Bill Maher meets Donald Trump despite long-running feud
The trio—Bill Maher, Kid Rock, and Dana White—were given a rare White House tour that included the private residence.
They visited the Lincoln Bedroom and even viewed the original Gettysburg Address.
Kid Rock revealed that the group’s conversation spanned across surprisingly shared concerns like “ending wokeness” and “securing the border.”
But the real highlight, according to Dana White, was what happened when Maher and Trump sat down to talk.
Donald Trump signs Bill Maher's list with 'good humor'
The evening wasn't without its laughs. Bill Maher brought along a printout, a long list of Trump’s past epithets for the late-night host.
Trump, in a surprising moment of levity, signed the list with “good humor,” as Maher later recounted on 'Real Time' on April 12 episode.
White, clearly amused, added, “It was hilarious. Thank God he had two of them, because I had them both sign it, and I'm getting it framed and hanging it in my office.”
In another light-hearted moment, Maher poked fun at White’s casual outfit, comparing it to something from the “Zelenskyy collection,"a jab at Trump’s infamous encounter with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
