The moment news broke about Que's passing, #RIPQue quickly gained traction, becoming a trending topic in the United States.

The news of the bulldog's passing sparked a significant reaction, with numerous individuals expressing their sentiments and praising him as the greatest ever.

As reported by Dawg Post, UGA X, also known as 'Que', was the Georgia Bulldogs' mascot from 2015 to 2022.

UGA X aka Que passes away

According to Dawg Post, Que, the former UGA mascot, boasted an impressive record of 91-18. He joined 'Seiler's Uga Three' as one of only two Bulldogs in Georgia history to achieve such a feat, surpassing the record of UGA VI, who held the title from 1999 to 2008, making Que the winningest Bulldog in Georgia lore.

Que was formally introduced as UGA VI's successor in a collaring ceremony before the Georgia-Georgia Southern game on November 21, 2015, as per Dawg Post. His audition at events like the Countdown to Kickoff in July 2015 and Picture Day in August paved the way for his stewardship over the entire 2015 football season, culminating in a 24-17 victory over Penn State at the 2016 Taxslayer Bowl.

Que began his reign as Georgia's beloved mascot at the age of two and a half in 2015, as highlighted by Dawg Post. He secured back-to-back College Football Playoff National Championships, two SEC titles, and victories in prestigious bowls like the Rose, Sugar, Orange, and Peach bowls.

The UGA mascot lineage, initiated in 1956 under the ownership of Frank and Cecelia Seiler, has been a consistent presence for nearly 70 years, with the Seiler family, led by Charles Seiler, demonstrating unwavering dedication.

UGA released a statement via X announcing Que's peaceful passing, stating, "We are saddened to announce that Uga X, fondly known as Que, died peacefully in his sleep earlier this morning. Born May 27, 2013, he formally began his tenure in a collaring ceremony at the Georgia-Georgia Southern football game on Nov. 21, 2015. Que retired following the 2022 season after becoming the most decorated of all the Bulldog mascots. He compiled a football record of 91-18, presided over two SEC titles, the 2021 and 2022 College Football Playoff national championships, and seven New Year’s Six bowl appearances. He will always be remembered as a Damn Good Dawg."
