Diddy's former girl group member Aubrey O’Day calls out his alleged lavish prison life
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Aubrey O'Day has criticized the attention surrounding Sean "Diddy" Combs’ reported life behind bars, claiming the former rap mogul has access to numerous comforts while serving his sentence.
She rose to fame through 'Making the Band', where Combs signed her and formed the girl group, Danity Kane. The group eventually disbanded twice. O'Day later participated in the Netflix documentary about Combs, where she discussed her experiences with the former music mogul.

Aubrey O'Day questions Sean 'Diddy' Combs’ alleged lavish prison lifestyle
During an appearance on 'TMZ Live' Monday, October 5, O'Day discussed Combs’ prison life and joked that he has "everything" with access to "liquor, pizza, pasta, massages and Instagram," while also referencing his infamous “freak-offs.”
Speaking previously to CBS, O'Day said, “Do I forgive him? I don't think that matters to the bigger picture. I think that he needs to do the work to forgive himself."
“I want to be helping people, and speaking for the underdogs, and speaking for the voices that aren't being heard. And I didn't necessarily get to spend the majority of my life yet being able to live in my purpose,” she said.
Combs was convicted last year on two counts of federal charges and sentenced to 50 months in federal prison. Sources told NBC News that the disgraced hip-hop mogul spends thousands of dollars each month to maintain a more pampered lifestyle.
The outlet also reported that the Bad Boy Records founder was seen appearing to use a contraband phone in a clip shared on Instagram.
Sean 'Diddy' Combs placed in solitary confinement amid reports of lavish lifestyle
“This is not some normal things you see in jail. This is some rich things,” one of four men who spoke to the outlet said. “It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy.” According to the report, men allegedly cook and clean for Combs, while others do his laundry and give him massages.
Multiple sources claimed he uses the contraband phone to access Instagram. Sources also alleged that Combs receives special meals, including curry chicken, pizza, and empanadas. The food is reportedly prepared using a makeshift heating element submerged in water. Other inmates allegedly hold his fan mail and phone.
“It’s so much that he gets,” a source said. “He doesn’t have room for it.” Two sources further claimed that Combs has a “jailbroken” tablet that he uses to watch movies and documentaries, including the Netflix docuseries 'Sean Combs: The Reckoning'.
A spokesperson for Combs told PEOPLE that the “continued scrutiny” of his prison life has made ordinary prison details into news. They said Combs continues to serve his sentence within the rules while awaiting the court’s decision on his appeal.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons said it does not comment on individual confinement conditions or anecdotal allegations but acknowledged that contraband, particularly cellphones and weapons, remains a constant challenge.
Meanwhile, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that Combs has been placed in solitary confinement, known as disciplinary segregation, at FCI Fort Dix. The low-security federal facility is located on a military base outside Philadelphia.
