Donald Trump hangs his new portrait in White House after moving Hillary Clinton's to make space

WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump, in his latest bid to redecorate the White House, has hung another self-portrait in his current official residence. However, the position of the portrait was intriguing enough to get tongues wagging.
As reported by the Irish Star, the president’s new portrait found its place in a bizarre location, and is displayed right next to one of Trump’s sworn adversaries, and former first lady, Hillary Clinton.

Trump’s new photo has been tucked between the portraits of two former first ladies, as Laura Bush’s photo graces the other side of the wall.
Donald Trump displays another self-portrait in the White House
Days after Donald Trump created headlines for replacing former President Barack Obama’s portrait with his own photo, the president is back in the news for another display of his own picture.
Jimmy Patronis, Congressman from Florida’s 1st District, who visited the POTUS’ official residence on the occasion of the White House Egg Roll on Easter Monday, shared a snap of the wall featuring Trump’s portrait.

The photo is a close-up of President Trump’s face with the American flag’s stars and stripes superimposed on it.
As the portrait made its way to the White House and subsequently to social media, netizens did not hold back as they criticized Trump for being “narcissistic.”
Patronis, who shared the initial photo, later posted an update on his social media where she shared that to make more room for Trump’s photo, Hillary’s portrait has allegedly been shifted somewhere else.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, a White House staffer reportedly declared the artwork to be "another iconic portrait" and added that "Trump was re-elected after two failed impeachment hoaxes, dozens of criminal charges, and multiple assassination attempts. He can hang art wherever he wants!"
Trump’s latest portrait came just a few weeks after he made headlines for hanging an artwork based on his raised fist photograph after the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, last year.

In a short clip shared on X, the White House revealed a portrait, and wrote, “Some new artwork at the White House.”

Social media users castigate Donald Trump for his portrait
The White House's latest inclusion of Trump's portrait is, however, not welcomed with open arms by his followers, as several social media users called the President a "ttextbooknarcissist," while slamming the stance as an "absolute disgrace."
One of the social media users said, "Why is his portrait sandwiched between two former First Ladies?"

"Interesting… Is there a reason why HRC’s portrait is on the right of it? Just curious," noted someone else.

Elementary schools have better art on their walls.
"Wrong wall. Tacky picture. Typical Trump," declared another user.
Someone else added, "Turning the White House into Trump temple. Gross."
"🙄 That portrait looks like a cheap poster, desecrating the vibe. He should have put a nice oil painting of his wife. The frame doesn't even match. I voted for 47 but this is tacky," commented another supporter of Trump.
