Melania Trump reads children's story at annual Easter Egg Roll

One of the most cherished moments of the day unfolded during Melania’s reading session with the children.

She read aloud from 'Bunny With a Big Heart,' a tale about a bunny who struggles with consideration and kindness, until a twisted ankle and a forced break teach him the value of thoughtfulness and empathy.

"What a beautiful crowd," Melania said before beginning. "I have a book here that I really like and on the end, you will tell me what you learned from it," she explained.

After the story, Melania asked the children to share their takeaways. Many children responded that they had learned "kindness" from the book and the importance of friendship.
