WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump has issued a brief update on his health amid mounting public speculation over his physical condition.

The update came shortly after Trump met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Monday, April 7. The POTUS took to his Truth Social page to pivot attention to his well-being, the Irish Star reported.

Donald Trump insists he's 'never felt better' ahead of physical exam amid growing health speculation

“I have never felt better, but nevertheless, these things must be done!” he added.

For weeks now, speculation around Trump’s health has been building steam, fueled by lingering bruises on his hand, his sometimes-slurred speech, and a few on-camera stumbles that critics have pounced on.

The most recent concern came during his March 20 signing of an executive order to dismantle the Department of Education. A distinct bruise, visible again on his hand, led some to question whether it was something more serious than just overzealous handshaking.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt addressed questions about his health, explaining that the bruises were simply the result of “constantly working and shaking hands all day, every day.”

Despite repeatedly mocking former president Joe Biden over age and stamina, Trump himself is now the same age as Biden was when he was elected.

After President Donald Trump announced that he is set to undergo a medical checkup soon, people on the internet took to social media to express their views on the same. The POTUS' supporters cheered him on, while his critics chimed in with their usual mix of sarcasm and curiosity.

One user cheekily asked, “How many pushups and sit-ups can u do?” while another took a more supportive tone, “My President appears to be in better shape than 5 years ago. All goes well, which I'm sure it will.”

Many supporters praised Trump for prioritizing his health. “It’s great to hear you're feeling well and prioritizing your health! Regular check-ups are essential for staying on top of things,” one fan wrote.

Another fan remarked, “You look great Mr. President! I don't know what you're doing but you look 20 years younger and looks like you lost some weight.”

“May you have the very best health, Mr. President!” one supporter said, while another added, “President Trump, I wish you the best of health always.”
