MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN: During a tense interview at the Republican National Convention, Donald Trump Jr yelled at an MSNBC reporter, calling the network "clowns" and telling the reporter to "just get out of here."

Trump Jr and reporter Jacob Soboroff got into an argument on the first day of the convention when Donald Trump received the formal nomination of the party for president, according to the New York Post.

When Soboroff questioned Donald Trump Jr about what a second term under his father's leadership might entail, Trump Jr took offense as the reporter added that Trump was a "divisive figure" during his first term in office.

Trump Jr insisted, "I don’t think he was a divisive figure at all. I think the media created divineness around him. They lied about Russia, Russia collusion, they said that he was a traitor, they went after him in every which way possible."

He added, "If the media starts being an honest broker, talking about the things that he did, the prosperity he brought, the peace deals that he signed around the world rather than the disaster that we’re living right now I think you’d do everyone in the country a big favor."

A more combative argument ensued when Soboroff questioned Trump Jr about his father's intention to keep immigrant children apart from their parents once they crossed the border.

Soboroff intervened, saying, "You know they didn't do that, sir," as Trump Jr seemed to associate the Obama administration with the same immigration strategy while standing next to his brother Eric Trump, sister Tiffany Trump, and fiancee Kimberly Guilfoyle.

Trump Jr angrily confronted Soboroff when he posed the same question. "It’s MSDNC so I expect nothing less from you clowns. Even today, even 48 hours later, you couldn’t wait, you couldn’t wait with your lies and with your nonsense," Trump Jr said.

With a quick wave of his hand, Trump Jr said, "So, just get out of here."
