Donald Trump mocked as he sells $10M jet he described as 'rocket in the sky' to MAGA megadonor
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: According to documents made public, Donald Trump's business decided to sell off one of his private jets this month following nearly $500 million in court rulings against him this year.
Additionally, a Republican megadonor, who contributed close to $250,000 to a political committee connected to Trump's 2020 campaign, is the buyer, as per Daily Beast.
The 1997 Cessna jet, according to evoJets, is valued at approximately $10 million; however, the specifics of the deal could not be verified.
Mehrdad Moayedi transferred Trump private jet registration from DT Air Corp to MM Fleet Holdings LLC
According to records kept by the Federal Aviation Administration, the aircraft's registration was transferred on May 13 from DT Air Corp, owned by the Trump Organization, to MM Fleet Holdings LLC, a Texas company.
Going by state records, that business is associated with Mehrdad Moayedi, an Iranian-American developer and construction magnate who owns Centurion American Custom Homes and resides close to Dallas.
As per his bio, Moayedi established his enterprise in 1990 and has subsequently constructed numerous residences. Centurion claims to collaborate with both governmental and private organizations.
Moayedi contributes to Trump as well.
According to federal campaign finance records, he sent the maximum $5,600 contribution to the campaign in 2019 and 2020 by giving a total of $245,000 to Trump Victory, a committee that raised funds for the Republican National Committee, state GOP parties, and the Trump campaign.
Mehrdad Moayedi contributed to various GOP committees and candidates
In addition, Moayedi has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to the RNC, Sen Ted Cruz (R-TX), and Nikki Haley, among other GOP committees and candidates.
The developer gave Sen Kyrsten Sinema, an independent from Arizona who has received large sums of money from the real estate sector and is accused by some Democrats of being unduly accommodative to Republicans, a maximum primary donation of $2,900 in 2022.
“This high speed jet is often referred to as a ‘rocket in the sky,’ flying at speeds up to Mach .92 and altitudes as high as 51,000 feet. It is one of the fastest in the world and allows for entry into smaller airports,” the site claims.
Additionally, according to the website, the aircraft has "top of the line interiors" that can accommodate nine people in comfort, and "the signature Trump Crest" on the outside adds "an even higher level of luxury and beauty to this magnificent aircraft."
Internet believes buyers 'overpaid to give Trump pocket cash'
As soon as the news went viral on social media, users started sharing their reactions. One wrote, "I wonder what the actualy value of the jet is. I'm guessing they over paid to give tRump pocket cash."

"They didn’t pay $10 Mil either. Probably about $3.0 mil at most. Now when Letitia puts the boot on the old big one, he’ll be flying commercial," one remarked.
