WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump's campaign announced on Monday, July 8, that President Joe Biden is "dropping out of the race" in a fundraiser email, according to Mediaite.

The subject line of the mailer reportedly read, "Biden is dropping out!"

The campaign mail said, "ALERT FROM TRUMP. Joe Biden is dropping out of the race! You know it. I know it. Everybody knows it. It can happen at any moment! With that Sleepy son of a gun completely gone and out of here, ARE YOU STILL VOTING FOR TRUMP? >"

Moreover, the mailer included a mock poll asking if the recipient still planned to support Trump and provided a link to a fundraising website.

Last week, the former president was caught on camera claiming that Biden had already dropped out of the race. In a clip obtained by The Daily Beast following his debate with Biden, Trump was heard saying, "He just quit, you know – he’s quitting the race. I got him out of the – and that means we have Kamala."

The presumptive GOP nominee has long used a wildly eclectic mix of content in his fundraising emails, hoping to draw attention and encourage recipients to click on links that lead to donation pages. Before sending out the "dropping out" mailer on Monday, the campaign released an email with the subject "Black eye?"

Its content read, "MY RIGGED CONVICTION IS A BLACK EYE ON AMERICA! But even on the darkest day in American history you NEVER left my side. So now that my sentencing has been DELAYED, I’m giving you a LIMITED EDITION Trump Black Card!"

Donald Trump draws flak as campaign fundraising email announces Joe Biden is 'dropping out of the race'

Netizens were quick to criticize Trump for letting his campaign send out the misleading fundraising email. Despite intraparty calls for him to step aside, Biden has asserted that he will continue with his 2024 reelection campaign.

One said, "DJT once again LYING to grift from the Rubes," and another remared, "Quick Trumpers! Donald needs your money now!"

"Yeah, nobody cares if the biggest liar alive gains absolute power. No big deal," fumed a person, while someone else wrote, "Since Trump lies virtually 100% of the time, this means Biden's all in and not going anywhere."

An individual claimed, "The Criminal Felon is going to squeeze his MAGA Rubes just a little more for dollars and they will squeal with joy."
