WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump didn’t hold back during his first cabinet meeting, delivering a scathing assessment of the country he now leads.

He declared that America had become "bloated, fat, and disgusting and incompetently run,” blaming his predecessor, Joe Biden.

Trump, echoing Ronald Reagan with his "Make America Great Again" slogan, blamed the nation's struggles on the declining health of its citizens, pointing the finger at Biden as the one enabling the crisis, as reported by Mediaite.

His comments came in response to a reporter’s question about potential cuts to the federal workforce. When asked about a new round of layoffs and whether they would be mandatory, Trump referenced billionaire Elon Musk’s approach to trimming staff at Twitter (now X).

A reporter asked, "You mentioned you’re interested in doing another round of this email. When would you like to see that? What would be the deadline? And this time, would it be mandatory?"

Trump responded, "I think Elon wants to, and I think it’s a good idea because, you know, those people, as I said before, they’re on the bubble."

"You got a lot of people that have not responded. So we’re trying to figure out. Do they exist? Who are they? And it’s possible that a lot of those people will be actually fired. And if that happened, that’s okay, because that’s what we’re trying to do."

On Saturday, the Office of Personnel issued a directive to millions of federal employees, requiring them to submit a list of five tasks they completed over the past week. The email emphasized that no classified information, links, or attachments should be included, with a strict deadline of Monday at 11:59 pm EST.

Musk wrote, "Consistent with President @realDonaldTrump’s instructions, all federal employees will shortly receive an email requesting to understand what they got done last week. Failure to respond will be taken as a resignation."

Trump added, before insulting Biden, "This country has gotten bloated, fat, disgusting, and incompetently run. I think we had the worst president in the history of our country."

He continued, "He just left office. I think he’s a disgrace what he’s done to our country by allowing millions of people to come into our country like that and all of the other things, inflation, which he caused because of energy and stupid spending to spend hundreds of millions, trillions and trillions of dollars on the green new scam, a total scam."

President Donald Trump’s recent comments describing America as “bloated, fat, disgusting, and incompetently run” have ignited a wave of mockery across social media. Many critics turned his words back on him, questioning whether he was unintentionally describing himself.

One user quipped, “Is Trumputin describing himself? Because that sounds a lot like him.”

Another added, “‘This country has gotten bloated, fat, disgusting, and incompetently run,’ says the bloated, fat, disgusting incompetent (incontinent) who’s running the country.”

“I agree, our president is ‘bloated and fat and disgusting,’ and under him, our government is ‘incompetently run,’” one user wrote.

One comment read, “Trump says ‘this country has gotten bloated and fat and disgusting and incompetently run.’ Is he talking about himself and his own administration? Because it sure sounds that way.”

Another commented, "This country is incompetently run by a bloated and fat and disgusting president."

One user lamented, "Bless the voters who looked at this bloated, incompetent, and delusional man and thought, 'Yes, that’s my guy!' Now he’s literally calling them fat, disgusting, and poorly run—directly to their faces. Imagine simping this hard for someone who openly thinks you’re an idiot."
