MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Donald Trump expressed his discomfort over the cold temperature in the Manhattan courtroom during the hush money trial on Monday, May 20, despite being visibly sweating.

Lamenting to reporters outside the court in a video clip shared on X (formerly Twitter), the former president said, "And then he goes on about things I'm not allowed to do ... here I am, we have people I'm supposed to be meeting about who is going to be our vice president, but I was stuck with a refrigerator all day."

"I am down hereby an acting judge. He's acting!" he added.

Donald Trump's previous health speculations

Trump dripping in sweat after coming from a cold courtroom has added to the ongoing speculations about his health.

In March, the former president appeared to hold onto a stair railing after he dragged his right leg for months.

"Something is definitely going on with his right leg. He’s been dragging it for months. This weekend …" Trump critic Ron Filipkowski captioned a video of the incident.

Referring to Trump's frequent lapses in recognizing current figures such as confusing Barack Obama with Joe Biden, Dr Lance Dodes, a supervising analyst emeritus of the Boston Psychoanalytic Society weighed in on the former president's health.

"Unlike normal aging, which is characterized by forgetting names or words, Trump repeatedly shows something very different: confusion about reality," the retired Harvard Medical School professor said in a statement, according to OK Magazine.

Donald Trump slams Joe Biden's campaign in response to 30-second mid-speech glitch

As MEAWW previously reported, Trump lashed out at Biden's campaign for questioning his mental competency as they labeled him "too feeble to stay awake" during his ongoing hush money trial and also appeared to freeze mid-speech for 30 seconds at the National Rifle Association’s (NRA) annual meeting on May 18.

In his Truth Social post on May 19, Trump wrote, “The Biden Campaign… put out a Fake Story that I ‘froze’ for 30 seconds, going into the ‘Musical Interlude’ section, when in actuality, the 30 to 60 second period of silence is standard in every one of my Speeches where we use the Music."

“The reason they came up with this Disinformation is that Biden freezes all the time, can’t put two sentences together, and can rarely find his way off the stage without help. Donald Trump doesn’t freeze!” he added.

Netizens weigh in on Donald Trump's health speculation

Observers were perplexed by Trump's claim of being cold, questioning why the 77-year-old was sweating if he had been in a freezing courtroom.

"Yep, it’s called cold sweats… An indication of drug abuse," a user wrote on X while another user tweeted, "He's having a panic attack."

"Dripping with sweat after emerging from a supposedly ice cold courtroom is sign that his physical health is collapsing," a netizen commented.

"I thought he was freezing in that court room!" a user tweeted.
