BUTLER, PENNSYLVANIA: The attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at the Pennsylvania rally was turned into merchandise within hours of the incident, as reported by Fox10 Phoenix.

T-shirts featuring the viral photograph of the former president defiantly fist pumping as the Secret Service tries to get him to safety are being advertised over the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by content creators such as The Hodgetwins and Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy.

The post from the Hodgetwins said, "100% of profits from this shirt go to Trump’s campaign," accompanied by the image of a dark T-shirt with the viral image and the caption "Fight! Fight! Fight!"

Portnoy promoted a similar tee from Old Row, which bore the text, "If you come at the king, you best not miss."

Donald Trump showed resilience on Pennsylvania rally stage following the attempted assassination

Donald Trump was discussing border crossing numbers at his final rally before the Republican National Convention when gunfire broke out at the Butler Farm Show Grounds on Saturday, July 13.

The first shot rang out just after 6.10 pm, while the presumptive GOP nominee was telling the crowd, "And then the worst president in the history of our country took over. And look what happened to our country. Probably 20 million people (came in illegally). And, you know, that's a little bit old, that chart... that chart's a couple of months old. And if you want to really see something that sad, take a look at what happened over..."

Trump raised his hand to his right ear and crouched down as more shots were fired. Secret Service agents quickly surrounded him to take him to safety. The MAGA leader made the agents pause for a moment, pumping his fist in defiance and seemingly mouthing the word "Fight" twice before being transferred to a waiting SUV.

At the defiant moment, blood was rolling down Trump's ear and cheek.

Internet slams the 'grift' culture as merchandise depicting Donald Trump's assassination attempt surfaces online

"Bros too quick with it," wrote a person and someone else added, "This is a disgusting grift. Be better."

"Poor taste. Save it for another day," expressed an individual, with one more saying, "This is so sick. Promoting the attempted assassination of a former President for profit."

"This is disgusting profiteering," commented another person under Portnoy's post.
