WASHINGTON, DC: During an unexpected Oval Office address on March 7, 2025, President Donald Trump highlighted the strong employment rates of his presidency.

However, the focus quickly shifted when he misheard a reporter's question about federal government layoffs potentially weakening the labor market.



 

Donald Trump's misheard question and limping footage fuel growing health speculation

President Donald Trump was asked, "How concerned are you that the large-scale federal government layoffs will weaken the labor market?" However, Trump appeared to mishear the question, responding with, "The large-scale fentanyl what?"

The incident comes just days after a separate video of Trump raised health concerns. In the video, Trump appeared to limp while walking on stage with Lara Trump at Mar-a-Lago, Irish Star reported.

The footage, posted on social media, caught the attention of many, with one user noting, "What do you notice in this video of Donald Trump and Elon Musk walking into an event at Mar-a-Lago today?"

In the video, Trump’s right leg appeared to drag as he joined Lara, who looked significantly younger beside him.



 

Additionally, another video posted on Reddit showed Trump limping around a golf course throughout the day, which was labeled "Trump has DISASTER SUNDAY as he LIMPS AROUND."

Donald Trump's hearing issue sparks online discussion 

The moment Donald Trump misheard the question immediately went viral, with viewers expressing concern over the 78-year-old president's hearing.

A user said, "He should consider a hearing aid."



 

Another commenter suggested, "Would someone get PeePaw a hearing aid?"



 

Some viewers believe it’s not just one incident, with one remarking, "I’m beginning to think he needs hearing aids and glasses. This is not the first time he completely misunderstood a question."



 

"Either Trump has fentanyl in his ear or he is losing his hearing," a more critical commenter added.



 

Another user echoed similar thoughts, stating, "Trump needs a hearing aid! This isn’t the first time he’s misunderstood a question!"



 

One suggested a more natural remedy, saying, "He should take some cod liver oil for that hearing loss."



 

Some have noticed a recurring issue, with one person noting, "He's been struggling often with his hearing lately. Wonder what's up with that."
