CHICAGO, ILLINIOS: The Democratic National Committee (DNC) faced criticism on Monday, August 19, as their released party platform repeatedly referred to President Joe Biden's second term.

It reportedly does not include policies from Vice President Kamala Harris, and the document was approved shortly before Biden dropped out of the presidential race on July 21, the New York Post reported.

Despite failing to reflect the transition of the party's nomination to Harris, there are no plans to update the document for the Democratic National Convention.

Donald Trump slams DNC platform for Joe Biden's repeated second-term mentions

The 92-page DNC platform voted on July 13, was criticized online after the mention of Joe Biden's second term was noticed 19 times in the document.

Former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to ridicule the platform for its focus on Biden's second term.

"In the JUST RELEASED Democrat Platform, they mention Crooked Joe Biden’s ‘second Term’ over 20 times," Trump wrote.

"It shows that the Platform is not that important to them when they won’t even make the change," Trump added.

Trump also compared the crowd size at his rallies to those of Harris, sharing a video of his campaign events with the caption, "Another packed house. Kamala had 220 people!!!"

Donald Trump's also attacks Kamala Harris

Donald Trump's campaign further criticized Kamala Harris' lack of a policy page on her website.

"Kamala doesn't even have a policy page on her website," the GOP presidential nominee's campaign said in a Monday release, according to CNN.

"She is simply a puppet to the same radical and insane class of socialists and communists who have been running the country into the ground under Biden," they added.

Stephen Miller, Trump's former White House advisor, also weighed in on X (formerly Twitter), commenting on the DNC platform's content.

"The DNC ditches Kamala after disastrous rollout of Soviet price controls, endorses Biden (19 times!) for a second term in the DNC platform. 19 times!! Total party dysfunction."

"In the just released Democrat Party platform, 'Biden's second term' appears a grand total of 19 times. It's hilarious incompetence but it's also the truth. Kamala's presidency would be a Biden second term. A continuation of his broken economy, broken border, and broken world," Trump’s campaign, War Room, penned on X.

Internet mocks Democrats for not proofreading their 'sloppy' platform document

Netizens were quick to point out the oversight at the DNC platform, with one person on X asking, "Don't they proofread stuff?"

Another commented, "Can't even proof a PLATFORM DOCUMENT. But sure, they can be trusted to run the country..."

Other reactions ranged from criticism to humor. "The Democrat Party is so sloppy," one person wrote. Another added, "It would be just as easy to replace with 'Obama's fifth' term—cause that's what it is."

One individual joked, "This is like leaving the name of the previous wife in the new prenup." Someone else suggested, "This tells you the coup was a last minute decision and they’re desperate."
