Political commentator says Meghan Markle won't have 'much effect' on Democratic National Convention
Andrew Cockburn, the Washington DC editor of Harper’s, said that Meghan Markle's present influence on voters is not strong enough.
“I haven't heard any rumors. I'm sure she'd like to, but her selling power has really gone pretty rock bottom her,” he told Tatler.
Cockburn added, “I don't think she would have much effect. I doubt she’ll show up at the Convention. I doubt they’d want her there.”
The other factor that adds to her missing out on the Democrat's mega event is logistics.
Prince Harry and Markle are presently on a four-day ‘quasi-royal’ tour in Colombia, which began on Thursday, August 15, where the Royal couple was invited by Vice-President Francia Marquez.
On day one of their trip, Prince Harry seemed to have attacked Elon Musk amid Southport riots in Britain.

According to reports, 80 adults have been sentenced after violence broke down in different parts of the UK amid the murder of three girls in Southport on July 29, per Daily Mail.
The violence in towns and cities across England and Northern Ireland has been fuelled by misinformation.
The Royal also emphasized that many people were “scared and uncertain” about the impact of AI and suggested that “education and awareness” would help in handling misinformation.
Musk has come under severe pressure and is being accused that his platform is spreading fake stories. He himself was a victim of misinformation after he shared a photo of Sir Keir Starmer looking at detainment camps for rioters.
Markle also joined, on how the “digital age has almost created a culture where if you don't have anything cool to say, don't say anything at all - and that is fundamentally changing how we move through the world, how we connect with each other”.
