Fans go wild as Trump enters Caesars Superdome making history as first sitting POTUS to attend Super Bowl

NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA: President Donald Trump made history with his groundbreaking appearance at the 2025 Super Bowl at the New Orleans Caesars Superdome on Sunday, February 9, becoming the first sitting president to attend the iconic event.

Trump, who was joined by his daughter Ivanka and son Eric, made his presence known on the field, shaking hands with players before the big game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles kicked off at the New Orleans Superdome.

As he entered the stadium, Trump waved to the roaring crowd, soaking in the electric atmosphere of Louisiana.

Donald Trump’s appearance at the 2025 Super Bowl sent the crowd into a frenzy as he arrived with Ivanka and Eric Trump.

Videos and photos flooded social media, capturing moments of Trump entering the stadium and taking his seat in a luxury suite.

Once settled, Trump mingled with New Orleans Saints owner Gayle Benson and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. 

Ahead of the event, several security measures were put in place in New Orleans to ensure the safety of Trump, with popular areas of the city locked down. Drones, armed guards, rooftop snipers, and police dogs formed part of the extensive security operation, which included a giant X-ray machine at the Superdome for vehicle screenings, per DailyMail.

The Super Bowl became a star-studded affair, with former first lady Jill Biden and music icon Taylor Swift among the notable attendees.



 

Trump, who is a fan of Patrick Mahomes, spoke highly of the quarterback and his wife, Brittany, ahead of the game saying, "I've watched this great quarterback – who has, by the way, a phenomenal wife, okay, she's a Trump fan. She's a mega-fan, so I happen to love her."

He added about Brittany, "She's a great person. I watched her being interviewed, I said it's pretty good, but she's great and he's great."

Mahomes, when earlier asked about Trump attending the game, said, "It’s always cool to be able to play in front of a sitting president."

Trump, who attended the Super Bowl as the first sitting president to do so, claimed he had no idea he was making history. 

"I'm very surprised to hear that I would have assumed many presidents came," he said. "But I think, just the spirit of the country – the country has taken on a whole new life. I thought it would be a good thing for the country to have the president be at the game."

As Donald Trump made a historic appearance at the 2025 Super Bowl on Sunday, excited fans flooded social media with comments.

One user celebrated, writing, "President Trump Making History!!"



 

Another fan proudly declared, "That's my president! I'm glad I can finally say that with pride!"



 

One person exclaimed, "The GOAT is on the field," while another wrote, "Absolute legend."



 



 

One fan shared their joy with, "Hell yeah 🇺🇸," accompanied by a video of Trump dancing and shaking hands.
