Donald Trump's claim that he is 'better looking' than Kamala Harris sparks meme fest

WILKES-BARRE, PENNSYLVANIA: Donald Trump claimed that he is "a better looking person" than his opponent Kamala Harris during a Pennsylvania rally on Saturday, August 17. 

The GOP presidential nominee made the remark while talking about the recent TIME Magazine cover that depicted a sketched image of the Democratic nominee, accompanied by the caption "Her Moment."

Addressing the Wilkes-Barre crowd, Donald Trump shared that he initially mistook the cover for a photo of Sophia Loren or Elizabeth Taylor, before adding that the image bore no resemblance to Kamala Harris.

He said, "I mean TIME Magazine. Think of this. TIME Magazine. Doesn’t have a picture of her. They have this unbelievable artist drawing her. And I said, is that Sophia Loren? Who might that be? Is that Elizabeth Taylor? They say she was a beautiful woman. Who is it? So a beautiful drawing. It’s a drawing."

The former president added, "They took a lot of pictures. It didn’t work out. So they hired a sketch artist. I said, I’m sure. Oh, they must be celebrating the great life and times of the magnificently beautiful Sophia Loren."

He went on, "And you are not allowed to say this anymore… I read a so-called Republican who Ronald Reagan didn’t like, by the way, and she didn’t like him, but she got credit for being this Reagan speechwriter."

"Highly overrated. I don’t know anything about her. I don’t know her. Treated me badly. But that’s okay. She called it wrong. She’s called it wrong now for about eight years," remarked the MAGA spearhead. 

The 78-year-old concluded, "But she said one thing that got me. She said Kamala has one big advantage. She’s a very beautiful woman. She’s a beautiful woman. So I decided to go back and reread the clause. I’m not saying he’s, but I say that I am much better looking than her. I think I’m much better. I’m a better-looking person than Kamala."

Soon after Donald Trump's unusual remarks comparing his looks to that of Kamala Harris made it to the internet, netizens didn't hold back from trolling the GOP nominee. 

One claimed, "Trump wears more makeup than VP Kamala Harris! Oh by the way, Kamala hair is hers."

Another person shared a meme, writing, "Donald John Trump first thing in the morning. Before his Makeup."

One more posted a humorous picture of Trump with an open mouth. The caption read, "He’s a clown #TrumpIsNotFitToBePresident"

Someone else shared another meme depicting Trump without any teeth. 

One more shared an edited picture of Trump looking significantly aged, writing, "Without his make-up on."

An individual simply posted a GIF featuring a man laughing with the caption, "We are laughing," in response to a statement made by Trump.
