BUTLER, PENNSYLVANIA: Bill Secunda, a local Pennsylvania artist known for his intricate metal sculptures, has once again captured the attention of art enthusiasts and political spectators alike.

Following the recent assassination attempt on former president Donald Trump, Secunda unveiled a life-size sculpture of Trump crafted entirely from nails.

This unique and symbolic creation was unveiled at the Butler Farm Show, the same location where the assassination attempt occurred, as reported by Fox News.

Bill Secunda's inspiration for the sculpture came from a moment that has been etched into the minds of many Americans: Trump's defiant gesture of raising his fist in the air and urging the crowd to "Fight, fight, fight," despite being grazed by an assassin's bullet.

This act of resilience and determination resonated deeply with Secunda.

Speaking from his garage studio, he shared his thoughts with Fox News Digital, saying, "I tried to give him the expression of 'Let's fight,' but let's do it nonviolent[ly]. Let’s do it right."

For Secunda, this was not just a moment of political defiance but a call for unity and strength in the face of adversity.

The sculpture, composed of approximately 4,000 twisted and bent metal nails, portrays Trump in a light navy suit with his arm upraised, capturing the essence of the moment that inspired Secunda.

The artist meticulously worked on the piece, focusing on the details to convey a sense of firm determination and strength.

"I tried to give him that look of firm determination. When he got shot a lot of Butler people, they didn't run away. They were upset [but] they were going to stay there and make sure he was OK," Secunda said.

Through this sculpture, Secunda hopes to instill a sense of strength and resilience in viewers, reminding them of the importance of standing together during tough times.

Secunda's artistic process is as fascinating as the final product itself. He begins by building an armature, which serves as the framework for the sculpture. He then meticulously welded each nail into place, a process that often requires heating and bending the nails to achieve the desired shape.

This technique is a hallmark of Secunda's work, and his garden is adorned with various life-size animal sculptures crafted using the same method. Among his creations are a moose, a bear, a bison, and a lion, each showcasing his skill and creativity.
