Donald Trump conversed with Elon Musk for two hours
During a two-hour audio-only interview on Monday night on Twitter Space, Donald Trump and Elon Musk discussed a wide range of topics, including the 45th president's immigration problems, rising inflation, the attempt on his life, and the policies he would enact if he wins the election on November 5.
"I believe it's over 20 million people came into our country. Many coming from jails, from prisons, from mental institutions, or a bigger version of that is insane asylums. And many are terrorists. And I'll tell you what, they're coming not just from South America. They're coming from Africa. They're coming from all over the world. They're coming from Asia. They're coming from the Middle East," Trump told Musk, who endorsed Trump earlier this year.
Donald Trump says Kamala Harris 'won't do anything' on migrant crisis
Donald Trump claimed that even though Vice President Kamala Harris had just made statements pledging to handle the escalating border situation if elected, she and President Joe Biden have years to address migration but "won't do anything."
"She had three and a half years, and by the way, they have another five months that they can do something. But they won't do anything. It's all talk. She's incompetent and he's incompetent. And frankly, I think that she's more incompetent than he is, and that's saying something, because he's not too good," said Trump.
Donald Trump's interview kicked off after 'massive' distributed denial-of-service attack

Donald Trump addresses Joe Biden's exit from 2024 race during conversation with Elon Musk
During the talk, Donald Trump again touched on Joe Biden's withdrawal from the 2024 contest, claiming that Biden was forced to withdraw by a Democratic "coup".
Last month, Biden withdrew from the campaign due to growing worries about his mental capacity and age of 81, as well as calls from Democrats and longstanding party allies.
"This was a coup. This was a coup of a president of the United States. He didn't want to leave, and they said, ‘We can do it the nice way, or we can do it the hard way,'" Trump said.
"They just took him out back behind the shed and basically shot him," Musk added before Trump slammed Biden as "the worst president in history."
Donald Trump takes shot at Kamala Harris for snubbing media
The 45th president also criticized Kamala Harris for avoiding interviews and the media ever since she was announced as the Democratic Party's 2024 nominee.
As of Tuesday, Harris has been away from formal press conferences and sit-down interviews for 23 days, including one for a cover story in Time magazine.
"It's pretty sad when you think that somebody that does this for a living can't answer a question or is afraid to do an interview, and in her case, with a very friendly interview. She's got all friendly interviewers," Trump said, per Fox News.
Elon Musk says he'd be 'happy to host' Kamala Harris
Elon Musk declared he would be "happy to host Kamala" in the same manner following the interview with Donald Trump.
After over a year without publishing on his once-favorite social media network, Trump returned to X earlier on Monday.
Following the Capitol hack on January 6, 2021, Trump's Twitter account was suspended prior to Musk purchasing Twitter, now known as X, in 2022.
After Musk restored his account, Trump hardly ever wrote anything on the site, only uploading his mugshot in August last year.
Ahead of his interview with Trump, Musk hyped the interview as one that "should be highly entertaining!" as it "is unscripted with no limits on subject matter."

The tech mogul received a ton of love and appreciation from netizens for conducting the interview with Donald Trump.

"Changing the world! X is the place to be," remarked one, while someone else remarked, "The legacy media cannot compete, this is precisely why they fear X and Elon so much."
