WASHINGTON, DC: Elon Musk's father Errol Musk has waded into the tech billionaire’s dramatic fallout with President Donald Trump and urged his son to end the brutal feud.

The 78-year-old POTUS has been locked in a war of words with his former adviser since the Tesla CEO publicly bashed his much-loved "Big, Beautiful Bill," which would expand spending on border security and defense, and prolong Trump's 2017 tax cuts.

Errol Musk compares son Elon’s feud with Donald Trump to a gorilla fight

As Elon Musk exchanged brutal barbs with Donald Trump, his father Errol Musk urged his son to stop escalating the argument, which he has likened to a fight between dominant gorillas.

The elder Musk advised the Tesla boss to recognize Trump as the more dominant figure in the high-profile spat and put the matter to rest.

“In any successful group of animals — whether gorillas, elephants, or human beings — the dominant males will always fight for dominance,” the retired engineer told The Sunday Times.

“But in this case, Trump is the one who was elected. Elon is going to have to accept he’s not going to be the general,” he added.

The rift between Elon and Trump flared further after the commander-in-chief accused the SpaceX boss of turning on him for personal gain and threatened to threatened to cut his government subsidies and contracts.

The tech billionaire responded by calling for Trump’s impeachment, criticizing his economic policies, and threatening to withdraw SpaceX's support from NASA.

He even went a step ahead and accused Trump of being involved in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal — an allegation the president has denied.

Reflecting on Elon's accusation, Errol said, “I’ve had this trouble with Elon my whole life. If something doesn’t look right to him, he can’t help but speak up. I always told him he can do that without getting nasty.”

Errol Musk claims Donald Trump won’t hold grudges against Elon Musk

Errol Musk defined his son Elon Musk as someone who has "never known a day's hardship," implying that he lacks the political understanding required to negotiate such difficulties.

“He saw things in Trump’s budget he didn’t like and spoke up. But that should be the end of it now,” he added.

Errol was confident that Trump would not bear a grudge, stating, “Trump isn’t vengeful. He will win this round with Elon and not hold it against him. A big person can forgive easily — only small people can’t.”

Errol described the dispute as a typical conflict between "alpha" personalities and claimed he had told his son to move on.

“Things have gone over the top. But this is what happens when alphas fight it out. I’ve told Elon he’s said his part — now let it go," he added.

Errol Musk claims Donald Trump will ‘prevail’ in feud with Elon Musk

Last week, Errol Musk spoke about the brutal feud for the first time, calling his son Elon Musk’s bombshell Epstein claim about Donald Trump a "silly mistake."

"I have no idea what he was thinking,” he told Al Arabiya English, before adding, "I can only imagine that's just a silly mistake."

Errol implied that stress was to blame for Elon's outburst rather than strategy. "When people have been through a great deal of stress, ... eventually, people reach a point where they lash out. Even at the highest levels, people struggle to find common ground,” the tech billionaire’s father suggested, according to the Irish Star.

He went on to say that he believes Elon and Trump would be able to reconcile swiftly, and that he has urged his son to resolve the feud.

"I did send him a message ... telling him, 'Make sure this fizzles out,’” Errol added.
