PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Eric Trump, the son of former president Donald Trump, revealed what Vice President Kamala Harris said that drove him "crazy."

The third born of the GOP presidential nominee weighed on his father's second assassination attempt in his latest appearance on 'The Megyn Kelly Show', where he pointed fingers at Harris over the threat against the real estate mogul.

"It's one of the things that drives me crazy when you see Kamala on the debate stage saying: 'This man is a threat to democracy'," Eric said, as per Newsweek. "There's only one person that they're going after and they're going after him viciously."

Eric Trump claims Democratic rhetoric caused threat to Donald Trump's life

The 45th president was the target of a second assassination plot on September 15 while playing golf at his golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida. The would-be assassin, Ryan Routh, fled from the scene before opening fire, and the law enforcement officials soon captured him.

Speaking to Kelly, Eric held the Democratic Party responsible for everything the Trump family went through in the last decade. He accused the Democrats of laughing at them, trying to take down, impeach, and finally attempting to "kill" his father.

The 40-year-old further asserted that the civil and criminal cases against ex-president Trump resulted from the weaponization of the judicial system.

"Now twice in five weeks, as we approach 50 days away from election day, they tried to kill him. They will stop at nothing," Eric claimed.

The MAGA leader narrowly escaped an assassination attempt in July during a Pennsylvania rally, sustaining a minor ear injury from a likely fatal gunshot from shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks.

Eric also revealed that he captured a personal video of the second would-be assassin's arrest. Upon receiving a call from a friend at the local sheriff's department regarding gunshots in the vicinity of the golf course, he headed toward the I-95, where the 58-year-old suspect was caught.

"I actually took a personal video of the guy being arrested. I was driving south, and the police chase was heading north," Eric said in the interview.

Weighing on the possibility of either of two assassination plots against his father being successful, Eric remarked that he "couldn't even fathom what that would mean for our country."

Internet ridicules Eric Trump for revealing how Kamala Harris drove him 'crazy'

Eric Trump's revelation about which words of Kamala Harris annoyed him sparked brutal ridicule of the former president's son. Netizens implied he was behaving just like his father.

"Like father like son; liars," a user said.

"No one cares what that little freak thinks. Not even his father," another added.

"Eric and Don Jr are locked in a competition to see who can look more foolish chasing Donald's non-existent love for them. Which one is winning?" one user commented below Newsweek's report.

"Your claim has been denied as a pre-existing condition," someone else quipped.

"Eric, the clan's beacon of rationality, ahem! (Wink, wink) Unlike E.F. Hutton, no one in his family listens when he squawks, but he doesn't take the hint. Instead he takes his 'show' on the road. So very, very Trumpian, it makes your teeth ache," read a remark.

"Eric is the dumb one, and that's saying a lot," an individual wrote.
