WASHINGTON, DC: Erika Kirk is sending a clear message that she’s not losing any sleep over online criticism, dismissing negative commentary with a mix of apathy and humor, while focusing on life beyond the online commotion.

At a TPUSA Spring Tour event, Kirk shared her thoughts on the constant barrage of opinions on platforms such as X, saying she’s mostly unaware of what people are saying about her and plans on keeping it that way.

Erika Kirk says online chatter isn’t worth her time

Kirk framed the criticism as part of an “endless onslaught” that she believes isn’t worth engaging with.

Rather than respond to online chatter, she said her attention is firmly on everyday responsibilities that leave little room for digital distractions.

“There'll be people that are like, did you see what they're saying about you on X?”

“I'm like, no, I quite frankly, I don't have time.”

Her comments highlight a growing sentiment among public figures choosing to disengage from social media negativity, arguing that constant exposure can be overwhelming and unproductive.

Erika Kirk prioritizes family over online criticism

“I am actually really busy right now playing magnet tiles,” she added, referencing time spent with her children, before joking that even changing diapers ranks higher than scrolling through criticism.

“And that is way more changing diapers. Yes. Than hearing the endless onslaught that really is just noise.”

Kirk’s approach appears to be a deliberate effort to disassociate from her online reputation, joining a wider trend of influencers disengaging from comments on their reputation.

“And actually, quite frankly, I really do not care.”

President Donald Trump, during an Easter event at the White House, paused a speech to greet Kirk and suggested she should consider legal action against some online critics.

Trump didn’t name anyone but said he has told Kirk to take action against those who are “so jealous” of her.

His remarks come days after court documents showed firearms experts haven’t matched bullet fragments to a rifle found at the scene of Charlie Kirk’s murder, triggering renewed online speculation.

Despite the attention, Kirk remains focused on family and Turning Point USA, showing no intention of engaging with online disputes.
