WASHINGTON, DC: Amid the controversy surrounding a video by Druski, in which the actor and comedian appeared as a look-alike of Erika Kirk, a rumor began circulating on social media platforms claiming that the conservative woman slammed the actor in a comment under his viral Instagram post.

Let us analyze and fact-check the claim.

According to the viral claim, which appeared in the form of a screenshot, Erika Kirk replied to Druski's video on his Instagram post, stating, “Druski this is sick. You fully dressed up as me, copied my look, my voice, my mannerisms, and turned me into a joke for millions of people."

"But let me guess, when it's done to me it's suddenly 'comedy.' If I did anything even remotely comparable, y'all would be trying to ruin my life. This is racist, humiliating, and you know exactly what you're doing.”

To this, Druski allegedly replied, “I never even said your name in the video the fact you saw a wig, a Bible, and a character and immediately decided it was about you is kind of telling on yourself.”

Fact Check: False, Erika Kirk made no such comment

However, no such comment by Erika or Druski appears under the viral video, and the screenshot is not authentic.

A look at the comment section of Druski’s Instagram post shows no such comment by the widow of the slain conservative activist. As of this writing, Erika has not responded to Druski's parody video in this post.

A fact-check by Grok also confirmed this, stating, “It's fake. The screenshot of those IG comments (her accusation + Druski's clapback) was fabricated for the meme.”

Comedian Druski, whose real name is Drew Desbordes, is being called out online after he appeared to take a dig at Erika Kirk, the widow of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.

Druski, who is also an actor, shared his sketch, "How Conservative Women in America Act," on social media on Wednesday, March 25. He wore prosthetics and makeup to resemble a White woman for the skit.

Though he did not name Erika in the video, it shows him seemingly copying her makeup style, blonde hair, way of dressing, and well-known fist gesture.

For example, the 31-year-old's skit starts with him entering a stage full of sparkles. It resembles Erika's entry at her late husband's memorial. People online immediately slammed him for mocking a woman still mourning her husband’s death. Some even described the skit as "blatant racism."
