WASHINGTON, DC: One of Barack Obama's former fundraiser, who contributed millions of dollars to his campaign, disclosed that she is "divorcing" the Democratic Party and intends to support Donald Trump in the upcoming election.

"Like any divorce, there’s not just one thing, there’s a series of things that led up to it," Allison Huynh said on 'Jesse Watters Primetime' on Wednesday, June 19, per Fox News.

Allison Huynh raised millions for Barack Obama's campaign in 2008

In 2008, Huynh and her then-husband, Google programmer Scott Hassan, hosted lavish "$50,000- and $100,000-per-plate dinners" for Silicon Valley titans to raise money for the Obama campaign.

Huynh founded Willow Garage, a company that produced robotics and AI systems that were later sold to Google, according to New York Post.

Allison Huynh said she has grown disenchanted with the Democratic Party

Since then, Huynh claimed she has become disillusioned with the Democratic Party, telling Fox News host Watters that she is getting more and more tired of their leadership as crime, theft, and homelessness continue to rise.

"The Democrats were policing the wrong things," she said. "The things that we need to police are violent criminals that are scattered throughout the streets of San Francisco, people defecating, shooting up heroin in front of me and my kids, and allowing criminals to go in and steal from our grocery stores, shutting down grocery stores."

"I love to cook and when I wake up in the morning, there’s no grocery stores to go to," she added.

Allison Huynh purchased a $1M Shepard Fairey artwork inspired by Barack Obama's 'Hope' posters

Huynh paid over $1 million for a canvas artwork by Shepard Fairey in 2008, which was inspired by the Obama "Hope" posters.

In a previous interview, she told the outlet that she supported former President Obama because of her "hopeful" nature and what she considered his "great ideas" regarding equality for women and people of color.

Allison Huynh now plans to vote for Donald Trump

However, the 48-year-old Vietnamese immigrant is planning to vote for former President Trump and is auctioning off the mixed-media piece due to her waning enthusiasm for the party.

"You have to look at the facts and the reality. When you walk the streets of San Francisco, I have three young children and when we go to the theater district… we have to step over homeless people shooting crack. And anyone can come to San Francisco and they can see the same thing," she said.

"I love my Peking duck, but I’m afraid to go to Chinatown because of the violent crimes against Asians there," she added.

She previously told Fox News that she feels "Biden has been asleep at the wheel."
