Fact Check: Did Epstein files mention party with 'a dozen one-year-olds'?
WASHINGTON, DC: The Department of Justice (DOJ) published over 3 million additional pages of documents, more than 2,000 videos, and 180,000 images in compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
In late February, a rumor circulated online claiming that an email appeared in Jeffrey Epstein's federal case files mentioning a party with 'a dozen one-year-olds'. But is there any truth to this? Let us find out below.
Claim: Epstein files mentioned party with 'a dozen one-year-olds'
On February 13, a Reddit user posted a screenshot of an email to the r/conspiracy subreddit captioned, 'John Brockman emailing JE about a party with a dozen one-year-olds.'
As per the top-voted comments, users largely believed the email possibly referenced illegal acts. The rumor further spread to other social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and TikTok.

He then added: "well, a dozen one-year olds!!"
Who jokes like that to a convicted sex offender?

He then added: 'Well, a dozen one-year-olds!!' Who jokes like that to a convicted s** offender? Someone who knew exactly who Jeffrey Epstein was and didn't care. The casual tone of this email is sickening."
Fact Check: False, Brockman referenced his granddaughter's first birthday party
The claims made in the online posts that the email referred to some illegal acts are false, as social media posts from Brockman's family and a statement from Brockman's son, Max, confirmed that the email to Epstein referenced his granddaughter's first birthday party.
Moreover, searches for information related to John Brockman's family led to a New York Times article reporting on the May 2011 marriage of Max Brockman.
Furthermore, Max Brockman informed Snopes, "My daughter was born on November 23, 2012, and the party my father referenced was, as you guessed, her first birthday party."
Interestingly, the Brockman name appears in more than 3,000 Epstein files results on the Justice Department's website. However, officials have not charged John Brockman or Max Brockman with any crimes in relation to Epstein's own charges.
