LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The deaths of Rob and Michele Singer Reiner have come as a huge shock. Even more startling are reports alleging that their son, Nick Reiner, killed them. Recently, claims have circulated that investigators discovered secret tunnels and rooms beneath the Reiner mansion.

The story first spread through a YouTube video, which also claimed that several bodies were found. However, before jumping to conclusions, it is important to examine the facts and determine whether the secret tunnel claims are true or simply rumors.

Claim: Viral rumors allege a tunnel under Rob Reiner’s mansion

It began with a YouTube video. The channel is called 'The Secret,' and the video was titled "FBI Discovers Secret Tunnel Under Rob Reiner's Mansion, They Turn Pale When They See What's Inside." The 30-minute video was posted on Wednesday, December 17, shortly after the death of Rob.

The description read, "Beneath the grandeur of Rob’s Brentwood mansion, a long-hidden secret has come to light following his death. The FBI’s investigation revealed something unexpected: a hidden feature of the house that had gone unnoticed for decades."

"When agents explored it, even the most experienced investigators felt a chill. This discovery hints at a concealed world within the mansion, one that could change everything we thought we knew about Rob Reiner’s private life."

Just three days later, the same channel uploaded another video titled "Here’s What the FBI Found in Rob Reiner’s Mansion After His Death That Shocked Everyone!" The 36-minute video claimed, without providing specifics, "17 DEAD WOMEN FOUND."

The description stated, "At first glance, Rob Reiner’s Brentwood mansion looked untouched, sunlit, orderly, ordinary. Then the doors closed, investigators stepped inside, and assumptions began to fall apart."

"What followed wasn’t the chaos people expected, but a trail of quiet details that raised harder questions. Rob is dead but their mansion feels alive."

The same channel later shared another video claiming that several bodies were found at Rob Reiner’s mansion (@TheSecret-c1f/X)

"As the investigation widened, so did the shock about what was found, what wasn’t, and how a place that felt safe became the center of a tragedy no one saw coming. The truth challenge everything the house seemed to promise."

From there, the claims spread rapidly. Clips and screenshots circulated across TikTok, X, and Facebook, fueling speculation and drawing widespread attention.

Fact Check: False, no evidence to back the viral claim

The claim that a secret tunnel exists beneath Rob Reiner’s mansion is false. There is no evidence to support it. Social media posts spreading the story do not explain the allegations or provide any proof.

No major news outlets, including the BBC, The New York Times, People, Entertainment Weekly, Mediaite, or Fox News, have reported anything related to this claim. The story was also not trending on X, and Google search results primarily show social media posts repeating the rumor.

The original YouTube video that sparked the claim never explains what was allegedly found. Despite running more than 22 minutes, it relies on vague language and presents no facts. Another video from the same channel, which claims “17 DEAD WOMEN FOUND,” does not actually mention tunnels or make that claim within the content.

There is no credible reporting, no evidence, and no factual explanation. The rumor about a secret tunnel beneath Rob Reiner’s mansion is not true.
