A YouTube channel called the Daily Trendlines shared a video titled "Karoline Leavitt Exposes Rachel Maddow’s Lie Live on Air!"

The description of the video read, "Karoline Leavitt confronts Rachel Maddow live on air, exposing a shocking deception with undeniable proof. Watch the tense moment that left the studio speechless."

Other YouTube videos titled "Karoline Leavitt Goes Head-to-Head With Rachel Maddow: Who Came Out on Top?" and "Karoline Leavitt's Fiery Confrontation with Rachel Maddow — Unmissable Live Moment!" also made the same claim.

In one of the videos, the narrator said, "In a political landscape increasingly defined by sharp divides and fiery rhetoric, the recent confrontation between White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt and MSNBC's Rachel Maddow has captured national attention."

The narrator added, "This head-to-head exchange wasn't just a clash of personalities — it symbolized the broader ideological and generational rifts shaping American discourse today."

"The confrontation unfolded during a televised segment where Leavitt, representing the Trump administration, challenged Maddow's critiques with pointed rebuttals. Maddow, known for her incisive commentary, responded with equal fervor, leading to a heated exchange that quickly went viral," the narrator further said.

Moreover, many Facebook posts also spread the claim by linking to unreliable articles.

Fact Check: False as there's no evidence to back viral claim

The claims about Karoline Leavitt confronting MSNBC host Rachel Maddow in the viral videos are false, as there is no proper evidence to back the claim that any such thing really happened, according to fact-checking outlet Snopes.

Moreover, artificial intelligence (AI) video creation tools were also used to form the narration, scripting, and sequencing of the videos.

Karoline Leavitt loses it at reporters during White House briefing

Karoline Leavitt slammed several reporters during her press briefing on Friday, May 9, starting with a reporter who asked her about President Donald Trump's meme coin.

Leavitt claimed that Trump is "abiding by all conflict of interest laws" when it comes to his meme coin and is encouraging people to buy it.

Notably, the POTUS launched a meme coin called $TRUMP and has been encouraging people to invest in it, as they can win a dinner with him this month.

During the press briefing, a reporter named Andrew Egger asked why the president was planning to host such a dinner.

Egger asked, "The president posted another add this week for his Trump meme coin. The group that's running that coin is encouraging people to buy in order to win a dinner this month with the president. Why is the president planning to attend a dinner for the top investors in this coin?"

Leavitt, in response, said, "The president is abiding by all conflict of interest laws. The president has been incredibly transparent with his own personal financial obligations throughout the years. The president is a successful businessman, and I think, frankly, it's one of the many reasons that people reelected him back to this office."
