LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A viral video allegedly showing Tom Holland kissing a 22-year-old woman in Paris has sparked speculation about his relationship with Zendaya. 

An X post claims Holland was filmed kissing the woman by a lakeside while holding her by the waist. The post also claims Zendaya responded by tagging Holland in an Instagram Story, fueling speculation that their relationship could be in trouble. But is the viral claim true? Let’s fact-check it.

Claim: Tom Holland spotted kissing a random girl 

The rumor originated with an X user named Praise, who shared a clip showing Tom Holland standing with a woman. 

The post claimed, “Tom Holland was reportedly spotted by a lakeside in Paris kissing a random 22-year-old girl while holding her by the waist. 😬”

The post also claimed, “Following the viral video, Zendaya took to her Instagram Story and tagged her husband, Tom Holland.” It then asked, “Could this be the end of their relationship? 😭 💔”

The short video attached to the post allegedly showed Holland embracing and kissing a woman near the water at night. The post also included an image of an alleged Instagram Story from Zendaya that read, “Well Well We'll @tom hoolland.”

The post was less than a day old but had already received millions of views. The claim comes amid continued public interest in Holland and Zendaya's relationship after reports that they secretly married earlier in 2026. Their reported marriage followed engagement rumors and a wave of AI-generated fake wedding photos.

Fact Check: False; the man in the video is not confirmed as Tom Holland

The claim that Tom Holland was spotted kissing a 22-year-old woman by a lakeside in Paris is false. 

The video does not show Holland. Community Notes on the original post and similar versions of the video also state that the man in the clip is not Holland. No credible source has identified the man as Holland or confirmed that the footage was filmed in Paris.

The alleged Instagram Story from Zendaya is also fabricated. The screenshot appears to be an edited image rather than a genuine post from her official Instagram account, @zendaya. 

Zendaya did not post any such Story, and there is no record of the alleged post on her account or confirmation from reliable sources. The text in the screenshot also appears garbled and does not match the format of her genuine posts.

Major entertainment outlets and news organizations have not reported any such incident or relationship trouble involving Holland and Zendaya in early September 2026. Searches for the claim mainly lead to viral social media posts and gossip accounts instead of credible news reports.
