GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN: A YouTube video has claimed that medical doctors "confirmed" former President Donald Trump had a stroke while climbing onto or riding inside a garbage truck on October 30, 2024.

The purpose of Trump donning a garbage vest and using a garbage truck was to highlight a recent comment made by President Joe Biden, who allegedly referred to Trump's supporters as "garbage."

Video claims Donald Trump suffered stroke while on garbage truck

On October 30, 2024, the progressive Vote Blue Network YouTube channel uploaded a video with a title alleging that medical doctors had confirmed Trump suffered a stroke.

The title "Doctors CONFIRM Trump Has STROKE ON GARBAGE TRUCK" suggests that Trump suffered a stroke while either climbing onto or being inside a garbage truck on the same day. This video garnered approximately 100,000 views in under 24 hours.

The video displayed a thumbnail of the former president donning an orange vest and gesturing towards the cameras.

Did Donald Trump suffer a stroke just days before Election Day?

The fact-checking website Snopes found no proof of doctors alleging, let alone "confirming," that Trump had suffered a stroke mere days before the Election Day.

Additionally, the YouTube channel, along with its onscreen host Christo Aivalis, has been known to propagate fabricated claims. The utter absence of evidence, coupled with the channel's history of unreliability, has brought us to determine that the claim is unfounded.

Snopes has reported on other misleading videos circulated by Availis, including one where he falsely alleged that a Fox News host interrupted Trump with a crude name, and another claiming that violent protesters had stormed a courtroom during a trial of the former president.

Speculation arises over Donald Trump's struggle with garbage truck door

Hours before the Vote Blue Network channel released a video falsely alleging that Trump had suffered a stroke on a garbage truck, the former president and his campaign team arrived at Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Trump disembarked from the aircraft bearing his name, clad in an orange vest. Shortly thereafter, he made his way to the passenger side of a garbage truck. A video captured Trump attempting to grasp the truck's door handle, missing it at least twice.

The incident of Trump struggling to open a door prompted various users on X, including the progressive MeidasTouch network, to speculate that the former president might have suffered one or more strokes.

However, these accounts did not provide any credible evidence to support their claims.
