Nicki Minaj recently shed light on her staunch support for Trump in an interview, as she applauded and worked with the POTUS and other top Republican officials in recent months.

During an appearance in 'The Katie Miller Podcast', the rapper revealed that Trump inspired her controversial leap into the political realm. She told Katie Miller, "When I saw how he was being treated over and over and over, I just couldn't handle it. "

"I felt that...a lot of that bullying, and the smear campaigns and all of the lying, I felt that that had been done to me for so many years, and I was watching it in real time happen to someone else, and I didn't think he deserved it," Minaj added.

Nicki Minaj got a warm welcome in GOP circles. However, her public allegiance to Trump has been criticized by several fans and celebrities. While hosting the 2026 Grammy Awards, comedian Trevor Noah took digs at her in front of music's biggest stars.

"Nicki Minaj is not here. She is still at the White House with Donald Trump discussing very important issues," Noah said.
