Fact Check: Did Trump really dye his hair darker before his New Jersey appearance?
WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump’s hair has sparked speculation after he appeared in New Jersey with a noticeably darker hairstyle than usual.
Photos of the president quickly spread online, with social media users questioning whether he had dyed his hair or changed his hairstyle.
The unusual look also caught the attention of late-night hosts Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel, who joked about Trump’s darker hair on their shows.
Claim: Trump dyed his hair before New Jersey appearance
Social media users have been speculating that Trump may have dyed his hair a darker shade. The discussion began after press pool photos showed Trump getting off Air Force One in New Jersey on Monday, September 7.
His hair appeared noticeably darker than in recent photos and videos, where it had looked lighter.
The change quickly became a topic of discussion online, with hundreds of posts suggesting that Trump had either dyed his hair or was wearing a wig.

Fact Check: The claim is false
The claims are false. However, the change in appearance alone does not confirm that he used hair dye.
Neither Trump nor the White House has confirmed that he dyed his hair or changed his hair color.
The speculation also reached late-night television. Jimmy Fallon discussed the change on 'The Tonight Show' and joked that Trump may have dyed his hair before his New Jersey appearance.
“That’s what happens when you hire the Reflecting Pool people to dye your hair,” Fallon said, referring to the Reflecting Pool vandalism case and the arrest of US Olympic canoeist David Hearn.
Fallon then showed a mock advertisement for a fictional hair dye called “Touch of Cray,” featuring an image of Trump with black hair.
The joke claimed the product could also enable users to rename states, put their face on coins, allegedly flirt with Natalie Harp, and host a UFC event at the White House. “Now it all makes sense,” Fallon said.
Jimmy Fallon’s comments also do not provide evidence that Trump actually dyed his hair.
