MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA: A newly surfaced video showing Renee Nicole Good honking her horn and dancing in her SUV before being fatally shot by an ICE agent in Minneapolis has gone viral online, with some commentators claiming it proves she was obstructing law enforcement.

The footage was shared by White House and DHS officials to support assertions about her actions leading up to the shooting.

The incident of her shooting unfolded amid an active ICE enforcement action in a residential Minneapolis neighborhood.

Protests erupted immediately, with Minneapolis streets burning as demonstrators clashed over whether ICE Agent Ross acted in justified self-defense or murdered an innocent.

Claim: The video shows Good honking her horn for several minutes and dancing in her SUV

Renee Nicole Good was shot and killed on Wednesday during an ICE operation.

Just minutes before, a new video shows her leaning on her car horn and dancing along with the sound.

In the footage, ICE vehicles try to make their way down the street, lights flashing and sirens blaring, but her SUV sits right in their path for over three minutes.

The clip cuts off as ICE agents step out of their truck, walk toward her SUV, and then, suddenly, shots are fired.

The 37-year-old mother parked her Honda SUV diagonally across Portland Avenue, perpendicular to traffic, directly in the path of agents conducting arrests.

Clips circulating on social media depict Good honking rhythmically and appearing to move to the sound for over three minutes.

In the clip, her horn is blaring while she stays inside. Some people online say it even looks like she’s moving around or dancing in the driver’s seat as the noise goes on.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt reposted the footage Friday, rejecting media portrayals of Good as merely "dropping off her child at school."

"She was a leftist insurrectionist who was purposefully and illegally obstructing law enforcement operations," Leavitt wrote on X.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) also shared the video, alleging Good was "stalking and impeding" law enforcement.

"The media continues to fail the American people in their reporting on the events in Minneapolis," DHS wrote in an X post. "New evidence shows that the anti-ICE agitator was STALKING and IMPEDING a law enforcement operation over the course of the morning. The evidence speaks for itself."

Yes, the newly shared video does show Renee Good’s SUV on a street with her horn sounding before she was shot, and some viewers have described her movements as dancing.

However, the footage does not conclusively prove that she was obstructing ICE or justify the use of lethal force.
