Fact Check: Was Taylor Swift caught flirting with another man during Chiefs-Colts game?

Claim: Taylor Swift flirted with another man during Chiefs-Colts game

An X post shared a brief, low-quality TV broadcast clip of Taylor Swift during the September 20 Chiefs-Colts game. 

The post framed the moment as alleged flirting and asked, “Taylor Swift caught allegedly flirting with another man, then moves away quickly when she realized the camera is cutting to her! @grok has she ever been unfaithful before?”

Swift had recently married Travis Kelce in July 2026 and attended the game with family members. During the game, cameras also showed her wearing her wedding ring and shouting “my husband” during a touchdown celebration.

The roughly 6.5-second clip appears to come from an NBC live broadcast of the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Indianapolis Colts game. It shows a view into a luxury suite behind glass, where a woman matching Swift’s appearance, with blonde hair, a pink or red spaghetti-strap top, and hoop earrings, leans closely to a bearded man wearing a necklace and a dark shirt with white lettering.

The two appear to be interacting or speaking face-to-face. As the camera focuses on them, Swift quickly pulls back or shifts away. The man then looks down and handles a small object while Swift remains nearby.

The broadcast graphics show “IND 30 – KC 30,” “FINAL TIMEOUT,” “2ND & 8,” and the NBC logo, indicating that the clip came from the later stages of the game. 

Fact Check: The claim is misleading

The claim is misleading. The short, grainy video is real and comes from the NBC broadcast.

Swift attended the game with members of the Kelce and Swift families, including her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, and Travis Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, with other guests and associates. 

The man in the video has not been identified as a romantic partner or someone with whom Swift has a relationship.

No major news outlet reported a flirting incident involving Swift during the game. Leaning toward someone or moving away when a camera focuses on a group does not by itself show flirting or indicate a guilty reaction. 

The post presents that interpretation as an allegation, but the footage does not provide clear evidence to support it.

There is also no confirmed public evidence that Swift has been unfaithful in her high-profile relationships. Fan theories and interpretations of her songs and past relationships have circulated online, but they do not establish that she cheated.
