Travis Kelce reveals Jason's kids called Taylor Swift by her full name during initial meetings
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Travis Kelce revealed that Jason Kelce’s daughters initially struggled to stop calling Taylor Swift by her full name after she began dating their uncle, despite getting to know her personally.
Meanwhile, Travis recently also opened up about his wedding to Swift, describing it as the best night of his life and reflecting on the love surrounding their special day.
Jason Kelce’s daughters adjust to Taylor Swift
When Swift began dating Kelce, Jason’s daughters Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett, and Finnley, whom he shares with wife Kylie Kelce, found it difficult to stop referring to her as “Taylor Swift.”
“We had to break that habit of your daughters,” Travis said on the September 16 episode of his and Jason’s 'New Heights' podcast. He explained that when the girls met “Aunt Tay Tay,” they continued calling her by her full name.
Jason recalled his daughters saying, “‘Taylor Swift, can I do this? Taylor Swift!’” In their defense, he noted that this is what happens when “somebody gets that famous,” still, he told them, “You can call her "Taylor.’”
Travis, described the habit as “adorable,” while admitting that he, too, sometimes struggles to act casually around major celebrities.
He recalled that it took him some time to stop calling Tom Cruise by his full name after he attended the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri on September 14.
“It was definitely ‘Tom Cruise’ for the first two times,” Travis said, before adding that after Cruise attended the game and they sat down together, “that’s my guy.”

Cruise was not the only special guest at the Chiefs’ 31-10 victory over the Broncos.
Two months after the couple tied the knot at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3, Swift attended her first NFL game since entering her “wifey era.”
Pat McAfee, who was in the star-studded suite alongside Swift’s parents Scott Swift and Andrea Swift, Travis’ mother Donna Kelce, and others, shared his impression of watching Swift support the Chiefs.
“She’s all in,” McAfee said during the September 15 episode of 'The Pat McAfee Show.'
He noted that although Swift had worn an Eagles jersey when she was young and had sung the National Anthem, her busy career had left him unsure how invested she was in football.
“Obviously, you’ve got the Kelce portion in there they’re all football people,” he said, while adding, “Watching them experience a game was fantastic.”
Travis also recently discussed his July 3 wedding with ESPN anchor Chris Berman during an interview alongside Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
When Berman asked whether he had gotten married, Kelce confirmed it and said, “It was the best night of my life.”
“Marrying Taylor was more than I could have ever dreamed it to be because of all the people that showed up, and the amount of, you know, love that was in the air,” he added.
