The controversy began when comedian Leanne Morgan shared a stand-up clip in which she joked, “Her uterus is aching, and she wants a baby. She wants a baby, and it's time. It's time for her to want a baby and she wants to breed with that big old Kelce boy.”

Morgan tagged Donna in the caption, adding, “Congratulations, girl!!! Wahoo!!!!! Grand babies playing ball AND singing!!!”
On Instagram, Donna appeared as a joint collaborator on the post, prompting outrage from some Swift fans.

Others, however, speculated that Donna may have accidentally accepted a collaborator invite from Morgan, which was later deleted. “Easy on momma Kelce. Apparently she was tagged by the comedian and now the post is deleted,” one fan defended on Instagram.

The repost sparked mixed reactions on Instagram. “It’s called internalized misogyny,” one critic said, while another fumed, “Making misogynistic comments about a woman and her body is not ‘such a mom thing to do’ lmao.”
One fan also wrote, "We need more moms like you and @donnakelce in this world! You just know how the world spins and I love it!"
But not everyone was critical. “She didn't repost it—Leanne tagged her in it. You can tag anyone if the settings aren't right,” one commenter wrote.
Others suggested Donna enjoyed the attention from Morgan but had not considered how the joke might be perceived. “It is still weird though that she didn't think it through before liking it because the ‘comedy’ about Taylor is f**ing weird and misogynistic and insensitive because not all women CAN have babies and some also don't want to,” another pointed out.

Meanwhile, Kelce’s father, Ed, confirmed that the proposal actually happened about two weeks before the couple went public.
He added that Travis popped the question before a dinner outing, followed by a round of family FaceTime calls. “So, to see them together is great,” Ed said.
