LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fox News journalist Jonathan Hunt is facing online backlash after his reaction to a panelist fainting during a live segment sparked criticism.

Camryn Kimsey, who appeared on the show to speak about former President Joe Biden’s recent media appearances, suddenly collapsed mid-speech and was helped off set.

Jonathan Hunt says 'we’re just going to get some help' after guest Camryn Kinsey faints

Kimsey, a former Trump staffer, was in the middle of discussing Joe Biden’s appearances on 'The View' and the BBC when she began to stutter.

“So this is about incompetency,” she said. “It’s not about ideology or, it’s not about — uh,” she said before trailing off and falling from her chair, disappearing from camera view.

Host Jonathan Hunt, who was filling in for anchor Trace Gallagher, according to LA Times, appeared startled and remained seated.

“Oh, my goodness, we’re just going to get some help here for Camryn,” Hunt told viewers before attempting to transition to another guest. He was then advised to cut to a commercial break, apparently on the direction of producers.

When the show resumed, Hunt gave an update, saying, “We want to give you a quick update. Camryn is up and moving. We have paramedics checking her. We will keep you updated. We wish her all the best.”

Camryn Kimsey gives update: 'I’m taking it slow'

Kimsey later addressed the incident on Friday morning on X. “Wow, sorry for the scare last night,” she wrote in a post.

She thanked the Fox News team and EMTs for acting quickly. “It was an unexpected and frightening moment, but thanks to their professionalism and kindness, I’m doing well. ... I’m taking it slow, staying hydrated, letting my body rest, and thanking the Lord that everything is okay."

“It may not have been how I planned to end the segment, but I’ll be back on your TV soon,” Kimsey added. “Hopefully long enough to finally finish my point about Kamala!”

Internet user slam Fox New host Jonathan Hunt over response to guest fainting

Online reactions quickly followed the incident, with many pointing fingers at Hunt’s response.

“Lmao that Fox News host just let you fall and didn’t help to pick you up at all. Glad you’re okay!” wrote one user on X under Kimsey's post.

“You still passed out with class. Glad you are ok. Too bad the host forgot how to handle a lady in distress,” another person commented.

“You’re cohost was a real loser,” one wrote. “Glad you alright. The anchor though who stayed seated instead of helping was very bizarre and disappointing,” added another.

“Sorry that your co-host did not jump out of his seat to help you!!” read one more post.

“Glad you’re okay!! Next time you see that source bag anchor you were with let him know he’s not a gentleman,” said another

Some users, however, defended Hunt's reaction. “I’m so pleased you’re ok Camryn. What a scary moment for you and the whole team. Your fellow anchor did well to continue... Hope you go from strength to strength...x,” one wrote.
