NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: In a recent monologue, Jesse Watters took aim at California Governor Gavin Newsom's unconventional approach to governance, likening it to an episode of 'Undercover Boss'.

Watters quipped, "Gavin, who never misses a show, followed orders. He went undercover as a garbage man."

Gavin Newsom's undercover escapades: Genuine empathy or political theater?

Indeed, it was a peculiar sight to behold as Newsom, donning the attire of various blue-collar workers, embarked on what appeared to be a PR stunt aimed at showcasing his purported empathy for the working class.

"Gavin is not afraid to get his hands dirty," remarked Watters as he recounted Newsom's foray into roles like a landscaper and a fisherman.

However, beneath the surface of this seemingly well-intentioned escapade lies a layer of confusion and skepticism.

Watters humorously pointed out, "Clearly confused, he thought he was going to get a rod to hold." One can't help but wonder about the true motivations behind Newsom's undercover exploits. Is it genuine empathy or just political theater?

The spectacle reached its zenith when Newsom went "undercover" as a host for the Crown Prince of Sweden, a move hailed as a diplomatic coup by his camp.

"Gavin's camp considered this a coup, visiting him instead of Biden," quipped Watters. Yet, the encounter seemed more farcical than diplomatic, with Newsom's interaction with the Scandinavian royal descending into banal small talk and awkward exchanges.

"Doing get secretary? Everything good, little man? How tall are you?" recounted Watters, parodying Newsom's attempts at diplomacy during his recent interaction with Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas at the White House.

The encounter, as portrayed by Watters, seemed more reminiscent of a schoolyard conversation than a meeting between heads of state.

Watters went on to draw a comparison between Newsom's recent antics and his past exploits, humorously recalling, "Gavin hasn't looked this much in charge since tobogganing in China."
