Fox News host Tammy Bruce says Hillary Clinton 'frightening women' after blaming them for her 2016 loss
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News contributor Tammy Bruce joined co-host Rachel Campos to discuss Hillary Clinton's claims about why she lost the election against Trump in 2016, on the Sunday, May 26 episode of 'Fox & Friends.'
According to The New York Times, Clinton claimed that she was abandoned by women voters during the final days of her presidential campaign because she was not "perfect." "They left me because they just couldn’t take a risk on me, because as a woman, I’m supposed to be perfect. They were willing to take a risk on Trump — who had a long list of, let’s call them flaws, to illustrate his imperfection — because he was a man, and they could envision a man as president and commander in chief," she stated.
Tammy Bruce slams 'malignant narcissist' Hillary Clinton
It was ironic that Clinton did not understand that "this is why she lost," Bruce told Campos. "It was all about her, in the way she was doing the campaign, her entire political career. It's never been about the people."
"She can't take any responsibility. It wasn't because, 'Oh, I was the worst candidate in American history. Oh, I'm a malignant narcissist...' As she doesn't take any responsibility for the failure of what she has done, including standing by her husband..."
Bruce also accused Clinton of considering other women to be "infants" who "just don't understand" and are "jealous" of her.
Tammy Bruce says Hillary Clinton trying to 'frighten women' with upcoming election
"(Clinton) bragged about voting against the partial abortion ban," shared Bruce. "We have seen the Democrats moving in this direction. Most people want women ... to have the option in that first trimester ... but not unlimited."
"We understand that women need this kind of framework, but at the same time there is Hillary making this argument that women aren't good enough, ... or this is what happens because you didn't elect me. How dare she, because right now, (control over abortion laws) is at the states where citizens' voices are heard more directly."
"This is the dynamic where women win," she argued, as women are voting for the abortion legislatures. "Hillary is still trying to frighten women with the upcoming election. It has failed. We care about the future ... Enough is enough people. Hillary, take a seat. Sit down."
