NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Recently, former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social, to share his remarks and claims against the governor of Florida and fellow GOP candidate, Ron DeSantis, or as Trump labeled him, “Ron DeSanctus.”

Trump claimed that DeSantis was the “biggest fan” of former Chief Medical Advisor to POTUS, Anthony Fauci. The former President also claimed that DeSantis was “praising” Fauci “all the time” amongst other things.

Fox News contributor and author Joe Concha responded to Trump’s remarks against the Florida governor and claimed they were “profoundly false,” however, the internet wasn’t too impressed with Concha for the same.

Joe Concha reacts to Donald Trump’s statement on Ron DeSantis

On Truth Social, former President Donald Trump wrote, “Ron DeSanctus was Anthony Fauci’s biggest fan. He was praising him all the time. He made the statement: ‘I don’t do anything without Dr. Fauci.’”

Trump also added, “And by the way, he locked down Florida!”

To this, Fox News contributor Joe Concha responded, “This is, of course, profoundly false.”



 

Internet backs Donald Trump’s claims against Ron DeSantis

After the Fox News contributor Joe Concha shut down claims made by former President Donald Trump against Ron DeSantis, the internet’s attempt to prove Concha wrong was prompt.

One user wrote, “How is it a lie, Joe? Desantis did lock down Florida. Yes it was a shorter time than other states but he did. I live there. I also remember him giving a speech during the pandemic and praising Fauci. Yes times have changed since then. I know how DeSantis feels about Fauci now. But come on man.🤦🏻”



 

“This is why I no longer watch FAUX, you lie and constantly push false narratives,” wrote one user, and another said, “No, it’s not.  We live in Florida and he DID say this…until he changed his tune.”



 



 

The internet continued to shut down Concha claiming Trump’s statement was “profoundly false,” as one user wrote, “No Joe it is absolutely true. I live in Fla and am retired. He closed our beaches, restaurants, bars, etc. Pushed the Vax and even did it on live TV with a 100-year-old vet. Stop lying it is easy to research.”



 

“You are wrong Concha, you should learn more about the candidates you endorse. Fox always jumps the gun, lol,” wrote one user in response to Concha, and another wrote on X, “Not really. Refresh your memory. I live in Alabama, and I remember.”
