Demi Lovato reunites with The Jonas Brothers at 'Camp Rock 3' premiere after confirming cameo role in film

Demi Lovato had an official red carpet reunion with her 'Camp Rock' co-stars Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas at the premiere of 'Camp Rock 3,' which is set to release nearly 16 years after 2010's 'Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.' Initially, it was reported that Demi Lovato would only join the project as an executive producer alongside The Jonas Brothers. However, it was recently revealed that the pop star is set to make a cameo in the movie. Even the film's director, Veronica Rodriguez, did not confirm her cameo earlier. She reportedly said, "You can’t really talk about Camp Rock or have a Camp Rock movie without referencing her. We love Mitchie. What I will say is that people should be excited to see some OG characters. You should feel all of those nostalgic vibes."

For the August 10 premiere, Demi Lovato opted for a bronze-brown laced-up vintage late-1990s Dolce & Gabbana shiny silk corset dress, which was earlier worn by Beyoncé as well. She kept her dark black tresses open and completed her look by adding a pair of earrings, a bracelet, and matching pointed-toe brown heels. The singer-actress looked stunning as she posed for cameras on the red carpet.

Like Demi Lovato, the Jonas Brothers also looked dapper at the premiere of 'Camp Rock 3' in Giorgio Armani looks. The oldest Jonas sibling, Kevin, opted for a gray suit and white T-shirt while Joe rocked a pink sweater vest and black trousers. Meanwhile, Nick's fit included a gray double-breasted suit paired with an off-white collared shirt. The OG 'Camp Rock' quartet hit the red carpet together, bringing back the 2000s Disney nostalgia.

Just a few days before the August 13 release of the upcoming 'Camp Rock 3,' it was revealed that Demi Lovato will once again be seen as Mitchie Torres in a cameo role. The 33-year-old played the character of Torres years ago in the 2010's 'Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam' and the 2008's 'Camp Rock.' She recently took to X to share a photo of her character with a caption that read, "y’all miss me? xoxo, mitchie," seemingly confirming her return. In a press release, Ayo Davis, President, Disney Branded Television, said, "Camp Rock is an important part of the Disney Channel Original Movie legacy, with unforgettable music, energetic storytelling, and characters that live in the hearts of fans to this day. Bringing it back with Kevin, Joe, Nick and Demi is such a full-circle moment, and we can’t wait to reintroduce this world to a new generation."

Demi Lovato posed in style at the 'Camp Rock 3' premiere while standing beside the fictional Gray brothers in the band Connect 3. The group photo also featured Veronica Rodriguez, Liamani Segura, Spencer Berman, Malachi Barton, Eydie Faye, Sherry Cola, Orlando Lucas, Hudson Stone, and more. The Jonas Brothers, Maria Canals-Barrera, and Lovato will reprise their roles from the previous films, alongside newcomers Cola, Segura, and Barton. The film is set to be released on Disney Channel on August 13, 2026 and on Disney+ on August 14, 2026.
