John Travolta debuts as director with daughter Ella Bleu supporting him at ‘Propeller One-Way Night Coach’ premiere
John Travolta steps behind the camera for the first time at 77 with 'Propeller One-Way Night Coach', a film adapted from his own 1997 book and rooted in his lifelong passion as a pilot. The directorial debut premiered at Cannes in May where Travolta was surprised with an honorary Palme d'Or, the festival's highest honor. At the Los Angeles premiere on May 28 ,his daughter Ella Bleu, who plays a flight attendant in the film, showed up to support him. It was a role reversal from every premiere where he has been the established star and she the supportive family member.
