Zendaya channels Athena in Greek Goddess-inspired look for 'The Odyssey' London photocall

Zendaya was truly looking like a Greek Goddess in a white halter-neck custom Jacquemus gown. The beautiful, flowy full-length dress featured a dramatic low-cut back along with a knee-high back slit. The open-back silhouette also offered a peek into her semi-sheer slip underwear. The actress appeared to bring her Athena-inspired role to life beyond the screen with her overall look.

While Zendaya made heads turn with her all-white halter gown, it was her coordinating headscarf that was the actual center of attention. The show-stopping accessory was tied to the back of her dress via elegant drapery. The 29-year-old actress' longtime stylist, Law Roach, posted on Instagram, saying, "The Essence of Athena...... Z wearing custom @jacquemus."

Zendaya's glam look was completed by adding a huge pair of gold medallion earrings by Glenn Spiro. The jewellery was reportedly made from authentic 1st-millennium BC ancient discs. She also wore two diamond-encrusted twist rings á la Medusa along with her diamond engagement ring and a matching wedding band.

Zendaya, who plays goddess Athena, in the upcoming movie is grateful for the opportunity. In a July 4 interview, she reportedly said, "[Nolan is] incredible. What he also inspires in the people that he works with is such a determined work ethic and people, really, who are such masters of their craft." She added, "Even I got a peek behind the curtain. I got to see things being made that I was like, 'How did you…? How is this…? How?' Even watching it back, I still am blown away. The magic is not lost at all, having seen it be made in real life and knowing how it was done. It's really extraordinary."

Zendaya's husband, Tom Holland, who plays the role of Telemachus in 'The Odyssey,' was also present for the July 5 event. The actor was dressed in casuals as the couple posed alongside Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong'o, John Leguizamo, Matt Damon, Robert Pattinson, Christopher Nolan and more.
