LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a candid reflection, 'Sister Wives' star Garrison Brown's sister Mykelti Padron shared her thoughts on the loss of her brother.

Myketli is finding comfort in Brown now being in a better place as she reflected on how his death brought the family together.

She revealed in an Instagram video that she was in Flagstaff last week with her husband and family for "obvious reasons."

"My brother passed away,” Mykelti said, adding “It sucked a lot.” But the funeral brought together family members who hadn’t seen each other in years, providing a rare moment of togetherness in the face of tragedy, People reported.

"The bright side of his passing is he’s obviously not longer in pain or hurting or sad cause he’s in a better place. At least, I hope he’s in a better place,” Mykelti expressed, trying to find comfort in the belief that Garrison is now at peace.

Mykelti Padron opened up on how Garrison Brown brought their family together

Continuing to describe her view on the death, she revealed another brighter side to the tragedy. 

“The other bright side is I've got to see all of my family together for the first time in years," she said.

She further added, "And I think that ultimately, obviously, Garrison would have been happy by that.”

Mykelti Padron said Garisson would have never liked them to stop living but continue with their lives. Mykelti said, "The other thing I know about Garrison is he wouldn’t have wanted us all to stop living our life or stop what we need to do," adding,"... he wouldn’t want us to stop it.”

Mykelti Padron opens up on honoring Garrison Brown's memory

As the family plans to commemorate Garrison’s life, Mykelti speaks of upcoming events meant to celebrate his legacy.

“We do have some more things for him, in honor of him, coming up this next month and some more in the next couple of months,” she shared.

In her social media tribute, Mykelti wrote, “My heart breaks for my brother who’s no longer with us but it rejoices knowing he’s with his fellow warriors in Valhalla drinking and fighting with Odin.”

She hopes that Garrison is “loving his place amongst the stars,” and while she grieves, she takes solace in the fact that he will live on in their family’s memories.

“Have fun up with the stars little bro, you’re missed,” she concluded.
