George Kittle recalls 'fantastic' moments from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's MSG wedding

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s star-studded wedding continues to be a talking point weeks after the couple tied the knot at Madison Square Garden. Friends, family, and fans are still sharing details from the celebration that brought together some of the biggest names from sports and entertainment.

Among those looking back on the event is San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle. During a recent podcast appearance, the NFL tight end recalled the "fantastic" moments from the ceremony, praising the couple's heartfelt vows while also sharing why Adam Sandler's role became one of the highlights of the day.

Weeks after celebrating Swift and Kelce's wedding, Kittle still can't stop raving about the memorable event. The San Francisco 49ers star reflected on the ceremony during the July 23 episode of Chris Simms’ 'Unbuttoned' podcast, calling it an unforgettable experience.

"The entire thing was fantastic," Kittle said. "I had so much fun." Kittle attended the MSG wedding with his wife, Claire, along with his parents, Bruce and Jan, and Claire's mother, Shelly.

According to Kittle, his family's invitation came after they bonded with Swift and Kelce at Tight End University. Taylor especially got to know his parents and mother-in-law during the event.

"Travis likes Bruce a lot, but then the moms got invited because of Tight End U last year, where they hung out with Taylor for a long time, and she just really liked them," Kittle explained. "So that was kind of fun to have like a family outing at Madison Square Garden."

For Kittle, one of the ceremony's standout moments was how the couple shared their journey with guests.

"They both did such a fantastic job explaining, like telling a story of who they were, and then what they came to be," he said. "So that was really fun to see.”

He also gave a special shoutout to Adam Sandler, whose appearance had guests laughing throughout the ceremony.

"Adam Sandler absolutely crushed it," Kittle recalled. "I was giggling in my seat, and that was fantastic."

Kittle previously revealed that Swift and Kelce had made one request to their guests: no wedding gifts. "They said absolutely no gifts," he shared before joking that he might ignore the request anyway.

"I was thinking Travis really likes old coins, so I might get him an old coin," Kittle joked with a laugh before adding, "Sounds expensive, too."

In the end, however, no one brought a wedding gift to Swift and Kelce's July 3 wedding, which was attended by 1,000 guests.
