Jason Kelce reveals how Travis' relationship with Taylor Swift changed his family's life
HAVERFORD, PENNSYLVANIA: A lot has changed for 38-year-old ESPN analyst Jason Kelce over the past three years, with life in the spotlight shifting dramatically after younger brother Travis Kelce began dating and later married Taylor Swift.
Speaking on the Tuesday, July 21, episode of the 'Ross Tucker Football Podcast,' Jason reflected on the family's expanded fame while also sharing new details about the couple's July 3 wedding, including Travis' singing and the brothers' upbringing.

During the conversation with host Ross Tucker, Jason was asked how gradual "the fame thing" had been throughout his career. The former Philadelphia Eagles star said the change had been steady until one major turning point.
"It was definitely gradual, and then it just like was a very big flip, obviously, when Taylor and Travis started dating," he said. The couple were first publicly linked in September 2023 when the singer attended one of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's games, though she later revealed they had already been dating for months.
Jason explained that the relationship introduced an entirely new audience to the Kelce family. "It led to a whole 'nother demographic of fan base being interested in not just me but our entire family," he said.
The difference in the people approaching him became immediately noticeable.
"I went from very much being dominated by large fat men coming up to me and shaking my hand and thanking me for being an Eagle to little girls," he said, adding, "It was quite a shift of people that became fans."
Jason also reflected on where he and Travis developed many of their interests beyond football. While saying the brothers inherited their athletic ability from parents Ed and Donna Kelce, he credited their upbringing in Cleveland Heights for exposing them to music, academics and the arts.
"I think a lot of the fact that we kind of do a little bit of everything actually stems from where we grew up in Cleveland," Jason said, describing Cleveland Heights as a "very liberal, artsy town" with a thriving music scene.

He also spoke about the July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City, where he served as Travis' best man. Taylor's younger brother, Austin Swift, was her "man of honor," while the couple chose not to have additional bridesmaids or groomsmen.
The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler, according to a statement from Swift's representative. Ross, who attended the wedding with his wife, Kara Tucker, joked that he was "honored" Jason chose his podcast to reveal details from the celebration.
He responded, "Everybody else is giving them out, right? Yeah, that was a fun night, brother. It was a great time."
Discussing the reception, Ross recalled telling his sister-in-law that both Travis and Swift sang during the celebration.
Asked whether he was actually a good singer, Ross said, "Yeah, actually, he is good," adding that if he "didn't know different," he would have thought singing was Travis' profession.
Jason agreed, saying, "Yeah, Trav can sing. Trav has always been able to carry a tune."
He added that Travis "obviously, paled in comparison to some of the other people singing that night, but he did okay."
Jason also later joked, "I think the Tuckers definitely have us beat in beer pong. I don't know if I've ever met a better beer pong player than Ross Tucker.”
