ENCINO, CALIFORNIA: Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton marked their fifth wedding anniversary with a special date night, but it led many to believe they celebrated the milestone at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's star-studded wedding.
While the couple never revealed where they spent the evening, details in Stefani's social media post quickly fueled speculation online. Their anniversary also fell on Friday, July 3, the same day Swift and Kelce tied the knot in New York City.

On Monday, July 20, the 'Hollaback Girl' singer shared an Instagram Reel showing off her glamorous look as she celebrated five years of marriage with Shelton. “5 year wedding anniversary date night with my forever Blake Shelton,” she captioned the video, which was set to her 2004 hit 'Luxurious.'
The pair first met on 'The Voice' in 2014 before marrying in 2021. In the clip, Stefani joked, “Blake will not let me take any pictures of him,” while showing off her intricate Yara Shoemaker dress.
The video began during the day and never revealed what the couple did during their outing. It concluded with Stefani and Shelton riding in a vehicle at night as the country singer sang Montell Jordan's 'This Is How We Do It' to the camera.
The date itself raised questions, as their anniversary falls on July 3, the same day Swift and Kelce tied the knot at New York City's Madison Square Garden. A subtle detail in the video also fueled speculation about the couple's whereabouts.
A suit bag hanging in a closet partially displayed the words "Blake NYC," leading many to believe the couple had been in New York. Although neither Stefani nor Shelton confirmed attending the ceremony, the couple has previously been linked to Swift and Kelce.

During a September 2024 appearance on 'The Pat McAfee Show,' Shelton compared his relationship with Stefani to Swift and Kelce's romance. “He's a standout no matter where he is or what he's doing. He's just got this big personality. He's a funny guy,” Shelton said of Kelce.
He continued, “He walks into the room, and he has a presence there, so there's never going to be that moment where he's in the shadows anyway just because of his charisma and his personality anyway.” After calling both Travis and Jason Kelce “a ton of fun,” he praised them for not trying to hide their relationship.
“I think when you're willing to just come out and just kind of put it in everybody's face that you're together and you're owning it, that's what Gwen and I did,” Shelton said, adding that he believed they could be together for the long run.
In May, Shelton reflected on approaching a decade with Stefani, telling PEOPLE that time had passed surprisingly quickly. “It honestly does [feel like time is flying by]. Some of the things that we talk about, we're to the point in our relationship that it's like, 'Oh, remember what happened...' and you realize, 'Oh my God, that was eight years ago!' It's like, how did this happen so quickly?” he said.
The singer, who teamed up with Stefani for a duet on his album 'For Recreational Use Only,' added that their relationship “still feels new. I feel like that might be the key to happiness, that it feels just as exciting and new and happy.”
