TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA: Ghislaine Maxwell, partner of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, shared details about 100 different people with the Department of Justice in connection with the disgraced financier on Friday, July 25.

Maxwell, who was convicted of child sex trafficking in connection with Epstein in 2021, met Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche on Friday at a courthouse in Tallahassee, Florida.

Ghislaine Maxwell has reportedly been granted limited immunity by the DOJ for information on Epstein files, ABC News reported citing sources. The immunity allowed Maxwell to freely answer Blanche's questions without fear that her responses could later be used against her, the sources said.

Interestingly, she also spent about six hours with Blanche on Thursday, July 24, as the DOJ seeks to quell the fallout over its handling of the Epstein files.

David Oscar Markus, Ghislaine Maxwell’s lawyer, said after the meeting on Friday that his client was asked some information regarding "100 different people" in connection with Jeffrey Epstein.

Moreover, he added that she did not hold anything back and gave the DOJ what they needed. The lawyer also said that she was asked about "every possible thing you could imagine–everything."

The meeting between Blanche and Maxwell was announced by the DOJ as pressure mounted for the Trump administration to release more information on the case after it said there was no Epstein "client list" and mentioned there would be no further prosecutions in a recent memo.

Interestingly, President Donald Trump has tried to distance himself from Epstein amid outrage from his MAGA base over the DOJ's backtracking on releasing files. It was a promise the POTUS made on the campaign trail last year.

Meanwhile, on Friday, Trump would not rule out pardoning Maxwell, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022.

A reporter asked the POTUS about the possibility of a pardon while he was departing the White House, and he simply said that he had not thought about it.

"It’s something I haven’t thought about. I’m allowed to do it, but it’s something I have not thought about," the president said.

However, Maxwell’s lawyer said on Friday that his team has not spoken to Trump about a potential pardon but indicated that they will push for one.

The lawyer said about Trump, "We hope he exercises that power in a right and just way."

"The truth will come out about what happened with Mr Epstein, and she’s the person who’s answering those questions," Markus added.

Maxwell was charged with two counts of perjury for allegedly making false statements under oath during a 2016 civil case.

However, those charges were dropped after she was convicted.
