Ghislaine Maxwell was honored at Clinton event years after accusations against her emerged: Report

WASHINGTON, DC: Newly uncovered photos and videos revealed Ghislaine Maxwell’s attendance as an honored guest at the prestigious Clinton Global Initiative conference in September 2013.
This appearance came years after she had already faced public accusations in civil lawsuits and in the media for allegedly helping Jeffrey Epstein.
Investigators also uncovered a guest recommendation list showing that Maxwell received complimentary access to the star-studded event, reportedly approved by either Bill or Hillary Clinton.
The unearthed images sparked a stir online, with users slamming the Clintons for honoring a well-known accused s*x trafficker.
Ghislaine Maxwell was honored in Clinton Global Initiative

CNN unearthed footage showing Ghislaine Maxwell being honored at a 2013 Clinton Global Initiative luncheon dedicated to ocean conservation.
Organizers recognized her alongside other “Commitment to Action” leaders for her role in the now-defunct TerraMar Project, an organization focused on ocean preservation. The video captured Maxwell smiling and standing to receive applause with fellow guests.

By that time, allegations against Maxwell had already circulated for years. As early as 2011, civil lawsuits and media reports accused her of grooming minors for Jeffrey Epstein. Public scrutiny intensified after a February 2011 expose linked her to Prince Andrew.

Virginia Giuffre’s 2009 lawsuit against Epstein had already outlined disturbing claims. In the years that followed, more women came forward, accusing Maxwell of playing a central role in assisting Epstein.
What did the spokesperson for Clinton Foundation say about picture of Ghislaine Maxwell?
Responding to CNN’s findings, a Clinton Foundation spokesperson said staff—including individuals in Clinton’s office—approved more than 600 complimentary invitations to the 2013 conference.

The statement noted, "There were more than 600 comps approved at CGI in 2013. The decisions on those comps were made, as they have been historically, at the staff level, which included the office of President Clinton.”
A representative for former President Clinton also told CNN’s KFile, “This is about someone working on ocean conservation attending a charitable conference 12 years ago, along with thousands of other people, and nothing more. As we have consistently said, the Clintons know nothing about Jeffrey Epstein’s terrible crimes.”
The Clinton Foundation spokesperson added, “The TerraMar Project, along with a dozen more organizations, made Commitments to Action to protect the oceans announced in 2013 at a CGI meeting. These were part of more than 4,000 commitments made since 2005.”

One person speculated, "She was probably honored because she donated a lot of money to the Clinton Foundation." Another explained, "Ok cool. If the Clinton's were involved in anything illegal arrest them, put them on trial and lock them up. Unlike MAGA idiots, this isn't a cult. No one is above the law." A Facebook user added, "We’re getting closer to the truths."
