Graham Norton reveals sweet demand Taylor Swift made before appearing on talk show

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: An October 2025 episode of ‘The Graham Norton Show’ was full of stars, like Greta Lee, Lewis Capaldi, Cillian Murphy, Jodie Turner-Smith and Domhnall Gleeson, as well as Taylor Swift.

The Grammy winner appeared in the October 3, 2025 episode of the talk show as she promoted her album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl’.

Graham Norton has now revealed how these high-profile names ended up together in the single episode. He credited Swift for it in a recent interview with British GQ.

The comedian shared, “The show was fully booked. So we thought, ‘We’re going to have to bump somebody.’” But the ‘Love Story’ hitmaker did not want to sabotage anyone’s plan, as Norton said, “Word came back from Taylor: ‘No one must be bumped.'"

Not just all the stars had fun on the episode, Swift also asked them to star in her ‘Opalite’ music video. “That was a good show to be on because everyone ended up in the ‘Opalite’ music video. Everyone!” Norton added.

The pop megastar’s appearance on the BBC talk show came just a few months after she said “yes” to Travis Kelce. At the time, the 36-year-old had also promised Norton that she would invite him to her wedding.

“I know it’s going to be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount, and people are on the bubble, and you have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there. I’m not gonna do that. Anyone that I’ve ever talked to [is invited],” Swift had said.

The pop icon and the NFL star tied the knot on July 3 at Madison Sqauare Garden in New York City, which was witnessed by around 1,000 guests and Norton was one of them.

During the interview with British GQ, he joked, “The thing about Taylor’s wedding is, I think, the cool thing to do is not go and then tell people I went because I can’t tell anyone anything about it anyway.”

“You kind of have to say yes because you want the story, but then you can never tell the story. It’s sort of hell,” the broadcaster, 63, added.

Swift and Kelce have kept many details about their wedding secret, but they did share that their outfits were designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections.

As per an official statement, it was the singer’s brother Austin who “served as Taylor’s Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler.”
